Gabriel IIIWEIGHT: 100kgs DIMENSIONS: 105 x 80 x 30 cm SHAPE: Elongated triangular pyramid with steep rear and very shallow front COLOUR: Yellow, with a black flipper and black shapes on either side of the robot. The spikes are shiny silver, as are the optional skirts. DRIVE: 2 LEM-130 motors run at 36v from 3 NiCad packs, driving two semi-pneumatic rear wheels with Vulkanised tyres for grip. The control is worth noting, as these two wheels are normally run as one with forwards/back movement, and a castor at the front is rotated via a custom high torque servo mechanism +/- about 75 degrees giving car type steering, however the robot can also be driven with the two rear wheels seperately in standard tank steering with the front castor being passive. This gives maximum controllability at both low and high speeds, as the mode of drive can be switched via the transmitter. SPEED: 16mph average, up to 30mph max TURNING CIRCLE: About 1m when in car steer mode (enough to still function as a thwacker and move in fairly tight spaces), 0 when in tank steer mode GROUND CLEARANCE: 0 at the very front point, rising to 14mm at the rear. Side and rear 4mm titanium skirts can be fitted giving 0 all around. ARMOUR: 5mm T6 aluminium baseplate, with composite 5mm titanium (5mm hardox in critical areas) and 7mm HDPE on the rest of the body. WEAPONS: The main weapon is the front hinged flipper, which this time is part of the edge profile of the tetrahedron (i.e. triangular) rather than Gabriel II's flat plate. The flipper has one set of rear facing Mute-style barbs on its edge to trap opponents, and is powered from 750psi CO2 stored in one 3kg tank, and a 80mm full pressure hydraulic ram with high flow rate giving about 20 uses in a fight. Also, the front point has spikes either side to cause damage by spinning, but these are now more blade-shaped than spike shaped, and made of hardened tool steel. SRIMECH: Via weapon. The back has spikes to prevent stranding, and because of the body shape it is very unlikely to do a Mute when self righting. NOTES: Has components shock mounted to protect from spinners, impacts, and life in general. Thanks to Leo for confirming that the variable steering would work in real life as well as in my head ;D STRENGTHS: Difficult to get a grip on due to the shape, low centre of gravity, very maneuvrable WEAKNESSES: Not really much of a pusher

Nitro-Gene 4.0WEIGHT: 100kg ARMOUR: 5mm Hardox monocoque for the body. 6mm Hardox flipper. Inside the body, there’s 1cm of Vulkanised rubber on the sides and rear, with 3cm on the front to help fight powerful spinners, and there's also 7cm of PU foam covering the motors and flipper rams inside for protection. SHAPE: Low invertible box with prism-esque sides and rear (Like a /\ shape rotated 90 degrees). At the front is a 42* wedge to aid in getting underneath other robots and deflecting hits from strong spinners. All the lines have been curved over to make it harder for a spinner to grab onto a panel and rip. MOTORS: 4 x LEM 130’s at 36V = 36HP LOCOMOTION: 4 Vulkanised Wheels. DIMENSIONS: (L) 90CM (H) 15CM (W) 70CM COLOUR: Dark Blue all over with the flipper coloured red with the name imblazed on the flipper (running down the robot) in gold writing with a thick silver outline. All the edges of the robot are coloured gold. WEAPONRY: A full pressure Nitrogen powered flipper at 1000psi, using a single 100mm ram at 1000psi. The flipper is mounted in the middle of the robot, and is 20cm wide and runs 50cm up the body. Using a 8cm long Titanium strip underneath the flipper, and a heavy flipping arm, the flipper runs completely along the ground. Running on a ratio 2.2:1, the flipper produces 1600kg of force at the tips, allowing me to launch anyone away! This version has enough lift to get a robot of equal size 9-6ft into the air, and throw it 9-6ft along. This version has 2 x 3kg Nitrogen bottles, giving me 25 flips! The flipper has enough power to self-right Nitro-Gene in a super stylish 540* somersault! SPEED: 22mph GROUND CLEARANCE: 0MM-2CM. At the front, it is completely 0mm. On the sides/rear, its 2cm. The orginal weakness of Nitro-Gene (its high ground clearance) has been seen to by the skirts on the sides/rear. They are 5mm Titanium skirts and are joined together like BioHazard – at the corners – to make in near impossible for anything to get under them. To avoid them breaking off, they are held in place by 6mm Hardox hinges. STRENGTH: Pushing power and weaponry. WEAKNESS: High speed may mean difficult driving

DolceShape: Convex front wedge with a pointed wedge at rear. Colour: Shades of pink with some white. Speed: 15mph Weight: 100kg Armour: 9mm titanium Drive: 2 S28-400 MagMotors @ 24 volts. Power: 2 NiCad Battlepacks @ 24 volts. Motivation: 4WD, aluminium with urethane/Vulkalon rubber Ground Clearance: 0mm at front, 0mm at the sides and rear due to skirts and wedge, and 11mm at the sides without skirts. Dimensions: 120cm x 90cm x 25cm Weaponry: A pneumatic rack-and-pinion style high-pressure axe, powered by 2.5kg CO2 tanks. The axe head is made of Hardox and is diamond-tipped for maximum effect. Can release about 30 full-pressure hits. It should be able to dent even Hardox at full pressure. Srimech: Axe. Strengths: Very powerful axe.

PsycloniZerShape: Cylindrical with an outer ring like Gyrobot, with three hammers protruding from the ring. Diameter: 700mm (900mm with hammers) Height: 175mm Weight: 100kgs Drive: 2x S28-400 Magmotors run at 24v from 3600mAh NiCad battery packs, which gives about 9hp in the drive. This runs four Aluminium wheels with a Vulkolan tread for grip. Turning Circle: 0mm using a four-wheel drive skid steer system. Speed: 15mph Ground Clearance: 10mm all the way round. Armour: 8mm thick Hardox for the rim and 3.25mm Hardox for the top and bottom armour. The hammers are also constructed out of Hardox. Weapon: A ~35kg spinning ring, like that on Gyrobot with three hammers extending horizontally outwards, supported to each other with a framework. The ring is powered by an LEM200 motor run at 48v and spins at 2500rpm. The ring should be capable of getting up to full speed in less than 3 seconds. This slams huge 80mm3 sharpened lumps of Hardox into the opponents at a force of around 108kJ. Self-righting mechanism: Psycloniser is invertible. Notes: The framework supporting the hammers can also work as an anti-axe or crusher device. Internal components are shock mounted using urethane rubber to protect against its own hits.

Systematic Shocker
Shape: Invertible box Weight: 110kg with setups 1, 2 and 3, 100kg with setups 4, 5 and 6 Dimensions: 80 x 100 x 30 Motivation: 2 x titanium tank tracks, protected from the side and vulkanised Power: 2 x LEM-200 lynch motors running at 60v Armour: 4mm hardox, skirts are 5mm titanium Weaponry: Interchangeable: 1)3mm hardox front wedge which can lift 200kg, powered by 1 x LEM-130 at 36v. 2)2 x 60cm long tungsten tipped hardox lifting spikes, powered by 1 x LEM-130 at 36v, can lift up and down to work both ways up, and can be fixed at middle point to work as ramming spikes 3)A titanium drum, with 8 pussycat style teeth, powered by a LEM-130 at 36v, it spins upwards to flip as well as rip. There is also a 3.25mm hardox scoop underneath the drum to give it 0 ground clearance, it is 25cm in diameter and spans for the full width of the robot, it weighs 8kg 4)The wedge from setup one, but static. This gets the weight down to 100kg and gets around any 100kg for tracks rules. 5)8 x tungsten tipped hardox ramming spikes, 4 in a bottom row and 4 in the top row 6)Vertical Tornado-style disc, spun upwards at 1500rpm by an S28-150 magmotor at 24v Top Speed: 20mph Ground Clearance: Effectively 0 due to wedge and skirts, 8mm behind them Turning Circle: 0 Srimech: Invertible Colour: Red with the name painted on top in green. Strengths: Interchangeable weaponry, loads of HP Weaknesses: Tracks exposed from above.

AchillesWeight: 100kg Shape: box, slightly thicker than tornado, not double sided, sides skirted like Panic Attack, back curved for more efficient srimech (like the original hydra), front is sloped at 45 degrees and tapered inwards so that any hits to the front will go to the reinforced flipper plate… See the image. Wheels: Four internal cast aluminium wheels (similar to tornado's Go Cart wheels in design but only half the width) and using treaded go-kart style tyres of appropriate diameters. Motors: 4x S28-400 Magmotors at 24v Speed: 18mph, Turning circle: 0m Armour: 5mm titanium and on top 10mm of polyurethane rubber to stop axes and crushers The flipper itself is a hardox frame and front plate (4mm) and the spatula being titanium. The internal rams are mounted onto a hardox crossbar but otherwise the top of the flipper it is now armoured with 10mm polycarbonate and the aforementioned rubber. Ground clearance: At the front, the flipper spatula essentially gives it a 0 ground clearance, at the sides it would be 5mm but is protected by a 3mm stainless steel skirt Weapons: The weapon is a rear pivoted lifting arm, this has two set-ups, plus a small extra mounted weapon for either. To get under the opponent it has a Bigger Brother style lifting plate that runs parallel to the ground resting upon it that gives the machine a really low ground clearance enabling it to get under most things, the front edge of the plate has been filed to a sharp edge. Set-up 1: Hydraulics Uses a single hydraulic lifting arm to life opponents of up to 150 kg into the air and tip over up to 400kg. Uses a 120mm bore ram with 40mm stroke and powered using a Vivoil pump On top of the lifter is a hook mechanism that looks like a tiny claw but performs the same gripping effect as the top mounted behemoth axe. It is not particularly sharp, as it is not designed to cause damage, just to grip the opponent it is powered by a small linear actuator. Set-up 2: Pneumatics The second set up is a high-powered pneumatics set-up with a single canister of C02 running at 1000psi providing the power. The addition to this set-up is a small T-shaped bar powered by an actuator which pivots towards the back, enabling Achilles to self right without using up any gas. Strengths: Very durable, no particular weaknesses for opponent to exploit. Weaknesses: No damaging weapons.

The 6isc
Shape: Too complicated, apparently. See picture in the vapourbot images thread.
Size: 60X110X60 CM (LWH)
Weight: ~100 KGs
Speed: 10 MPH.
Ground clearance: Under the wheel protectors, it’s 5 mm.
Weapon: 26 KG spinning disc, powered by one LEM 130 Lynch motor and going at 2500 RPM. The disc is shaped with its own teeth rather than needing teeth surgically attached to it, so dentistry is quite impossible. The energy output is 36 KJ’s which, while modest by vapour ‘bot standards should still be enough to make a mess of things.
Wheels: 6 wheels, but four wheel drive. This has three wheels on either side arranged in a triangular fashion, so it only runs on four at a time. The wheels are 1 CM solid Ti with soft compound rubber wrapped around them to provide shock resistance, and a layer of Vulcalon wrapped around that to provide traction.
Chassis: The main chassis consists of one solitary 1 CM thick 4 mm box section hardox bar. Slotted over that is a secondary axle, inside which are the batteries. There are also two other triangular chassis’ supporting the wheels. These are made from 4 MM 1 CM box section Ti bars with weight reducing holes.
Armour: The true axle and chassis is a 4 MM hardox bar. The battery axle is 2 mm aluminium. The semi circular wheel protectors and side spikes are 5 mm Hardox. The disc itself is 14 MM of Hardox 500, and the outer axle is 4 mm grade 5 Ti.
Srimech: Totally invertible. Controls won’t even have to be reversed after flipping, meaning it can just go straight back on the attack.
Drive: 2 S28-400 Magmotors at 24 volts.
Strengths: The newest version of The 6isc does away with as many weaknesses in The Disc 5 as I could find.
Weaknesses: Weak armour in places. Can’t use axe attacks.
