Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) vs. Cacodemon vs. Star 69
Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) comes back from his tournament victory in the Fowler Fic War 3.1 to do some damage! He's got a powerful flipping arm with a scoop on the end, and with 540kgs of force should launch bots into hyperspace. G5 Titanium armour wraps around this slightly Steg 2-shaped design, and LEM130 drive gives a great push against other vapourbots. C&BT1: Defeated Slaying Mantis F in a judges' decision, and amazingly took out Mass Disctruction Ultimate 3 before getting himself ejected from the warzone in the Heat C Final by 3rd seed Orka MK4.
Cacodemon is a demonic brute with four Dustin motors (giving it a top speed of 20mph) and titanium armour (8mm for the wedges/skirts, 6mm for the main body). It doesn't really have any weapons, but on its front wedge are several claws to hold opponents on the wedge and not allow to simply fly over it. He's not so tough if flipped, though. C&BT1: Did not enter.
Star 69 looks bright and ready. It also has LEM drive, and 4mm G5 titanium armour. It is also invertible with 6WD! Add to this that you've got an outer spinning ring with three rows of blades to slice 'n dice and this star-shaped bot will probably coming calling at your door...with a can of whoop-ass, that is. C&BT1: Did not enter.

Booth 1: Cacodemon, Wedga Revo 2.0 Booth 2: Star 69
Asterix Heroicus zooms into the arena, almost catching the wall, and settles into his spot whilst Taki-san takes the CPZ opposite.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
Heat F kicks off with Wedga converging upon Cacodemon. Star 69 has begun to get his weapon up to speed, and drives right off towards Wedga! Wedga tackles Cacodemon's front but the ground clearance eludes him and he drives right up onto the wedge! The claws halt further approach however, and Wedga prepares to drive off of him in reverse, when a spinning weapon belonging to Star 69 smacks into his side! CRASH!!! Oh man! That had to hurt! Both bots are flung away by that ominous blow, Wedga sustaining a great gouge in the 5mm titanium side, and already it seems to have done something to the mechanics! He seems to be only driving around in a circle! Cacodemon drives forward, not at full speed however due to the low ground clearance and tackles Wedga into the wall. Wedga tries to push back but that loss of power on the left side has left him crippled and Cacodemon can ram to his heart's delight! Star 69 however has other plans. Spinning down his weapon he hits the pit release button, opening our beloved pit. Now he's back up to speed and charges at Wedga. Cacodemon getting the message turns away and backs towards the arena saws as Star 69 collides with Wedga's front end! CRASH!!! Ooh, the scoop took phenomenal damage, but is hanging by a few bits and pieces! But Star 69 did not come off too good there either! Wedga had activated the flipper at that hit, and Star 69 got sent flying! Now however he's back in action but Cacodemon snags the spotlight by getting Wedga's exposed left side and pushing him into Taki-san's CPZ! Taki turns to expose the flywheel...not as big of a crash so it's not really noteworthy, but it does give Wedga a small rip in the right side now. Star 69 ruthlessly takes charge now and again rips into the 11th seed! CRASH!!! Wedga is dislodged from Taki and Cacodemon and is smacked against the CPZ wall! There's no movement left in the seed...can he possibly be out, the champion of FFW3.1, in the first round of the C&BT2?! It seems the The Watcher thinks so, and seperating Taki and Cacodemon shunts into the immobilized Wedga and begins the countdown - CRASH!!! OOH! Star 69 came in without warning and tackled the ref, and with that blow stuck him against the wall at an odd angle! Taki seems to be enjoying this and with a playful nudge to the rear, The Watcher keels over and falls on his face! Oh, RED CARD! Send him off! Er...send them off, actually, but it's Cacodemon who backs into The Watcher and slowly but surely, reaches the pit and BOOM! down goes the exceptionally peeved referee! Wedga may be out, but Andy is chuckling at the sight of The Watcher getting humiliated. Galliant contender!

Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) needs a revitalization, and fast. Star 69 and Cacodemon advance to Round 2!

Tengu VII vs. IDSFA vs. Storm II
Tengu VII is quite possibly the most successful vapourbot to date. Needs little to no introduction: you all know all about the spinning ring and blades, anti-spinning ring, skirting, and self-righting arm. You might also notice that it has poor traction. Just don't let her get up to speed. C&BT1: Was in Heat G, and it smashed Whirligig 4.0 apart before having her wheels taken off by Tempest Evil-er-oution in the second round.
IDSFA ain't no son of mine. He looks like Raging Knightmare but that's about it. The flipper he is at front is front-hinged and can flip opponents his own weight, and he has a rear disc dishing out 10kJ per hit. It has LEM drive giving it a top speed of 20mph and good pushing power but its armour isn't the best. C&BT1: Made short work of The Great Cornholio, but then current champion Salamander III made short work of IDSFA in Heat H.
Storm II is arguably the most powerful robot in our current day. He's got 6WD LEM drive allowing excellent power and speed, 6mm-12mm titanium armour over a steel chassis, and a lifting arm that can toss over its own weight. It's also invertible, therefore exposing its wheels to crushers and axes; however there are none in this fight... C&BT1: Outclassed Mega Masher in Heat H's first round but then Killotine: EVO took it to the pit right after.

Booth 1: Storm II, Tengu VII Booth 2: IDSFA
You're going have to deal with Double Whamlet and Obelix Bulguous as well if you enter the CPZs.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
So the plan for IDSFA...is to attack Storm II, and push it into Tengu VII. That might not work however because Storm is coming right at him! Tengu spins herself up and heads towards both other bots, but Storm is able to get under IDSFA's flipper and smashes it straight into the wall! WHAM! IDSFA gets some air and is bounced away off the wall but he doesn't get a chance to breathe because Storm is back at him, and slips under those side skirts, and up comes the arm, raising IDSFA by the wedge as he is rammed against the wall again! WHAM! He bounces again and faces away from the wall, and slides towards Storm's side, and penetrates it! Storm tries to back off but FLIP! Now we have an inverted Storm! Tengu can't catch these fast machines and decides to wait in the center of the arena. Storm gets out of the way as IDSFA flies at him, now on the aggressive. The arm pops up from under Storm and he halts, trying to self-right, only to have IDSFA crash into him a second later and pile him into the wall! WHAM! He goes for the OOTA but no! Storm is merely stuck against it! Tengu seeing this opportunity decides to trek over there but IDSFA gets the hell out of the way and Storm falls on its back again. He's not thinking of righting himself yet and jets away before Tengu can get closer, leaving the fully-spinning FBS in frustration. IDSFA is chasing after the inverted Storm who attempts to fly over the arena saws hoping they will right him...but they don't pop up. Storm goes to lift himself up off the floor again and IDSFA rushes at him...only to himself get caught by the arena saws and goes flying to the left of the now reinverted Storm II! Storm turns and barrels into IDSFA's side, but this time is unable to penetrate the skirt. Tengu is approaching again, and IDSFA tries to reverse away but Storm pushing into the side of IDSFA rolls him around in an arc...straight into Tengu! ...and there is no big crash, however, because IDSFA's disc hit the anti-spinning ring first, causing no damage to Tengu whatsoever! Tengu herself bores forward and actually nicks IDSFA's rear corner, causing some sparks and actually severely denting it! IDSFA has actually not moved from that collision thanks to Storm, but that hit causes Storm to finally get under IDSFA and WHAM! Right into the wall once more! IDSFA slides off of Storm and jets away to open the pit, only to find Tengu blocking him! He reverses away narrowly avoiding a charge from Storm, and a little maneouvering finds him at Storm's side! The wedge penetrates the skirt! Tengu comes forth again and IDSFA shoves Storm onto his wedge and drives, right into Tengu! CRASH!!! It was what Frank was hoping for; Storm is mashed by the blow and sent spinning across the arena, removed from his skirt! And now Tengu has slowed down! IDSFA seizes his chance and barrels into Tengu but is unable to get under Tengu's skirting, and more importantly unable to stop Tengu from achieving her deadly speeds! Tengu however isn't the pushiest bot by a long shot and IDSFA knowing this decides to take Tengu to a CPZ - Whamlet's, in fact! The house bot rushes out before they reach the CPZ! CRASH!!! Tengu is seperated from IDSFA, having grievously gashed Whamlet's front end but Whamlet does not appreciate that at all! WHAM! Tengu is rammed and the axe arms close around her before she can spin up! WHACK! Down come the axes onto Tengu's srimech! And finally, another WHAM! signifys that Tengu has been rammed into the CPZ beside Whamlet's previously occupied one! Storm finds its way into that CPZ and tackles Tengu but is also unable to get arm under! The blades of Tengu try to spin up but Whamlet's scoop stops their attempt and now OBelix shoots out, tackling Storm in the rear BUT ENDS UP FLYING OVER THEM!!! Obelix is now on top of Storm and the Storm boys don't know what to do! Frank does - IDSFA gets to Storm's side and gets under the now skirtless side, and tries to throw it over. No go. Tengu meanwhile is getting axed to death by Whamlet's twin axes, and suddenly he "lets" Tengu go, but she can't go anywhere while pinning against the wall - ah, he backs up. The Watcher comes in and tackles Whamlet in the side to allow Tengu to go free but IDSFA has different feelings. He drops Storm and wheeling around rams Tengu with the wedge. Again the blades are stopped and Tengu is mashed into the wall! Storm can't seem to dislodge Obelix off of him and goes after IDSFA with the mighty house bot on top, finding Storm's speed much reduced thanks to the weight! IDSFA pushes Tengu hard against the wall but that wedge just can't defeat Tengu's skirt!

Storm moves forward and Obelix is finally able to get off of him, returning to his CPZ.

IDSFA is tackled from behind and that disc does hardly anything to Storm as he is pressed into Tengu, sliding underneath!

IDSFA tries to get Tengu OOTA but Tengu is only pressed into the wall like Storm was before!

Brilliant fight! Each stood up in their own way and are pretty functional! I think IDSFA took control at the end, but let's let the judges take this one.

Cacodemon vs. IDSFA
Cacodemon, thanks to an early wedging, helped Star 69 obliterate the 11th seed.
IDSFA tied Tengu VII for a three-way judges’ decision, leaving Storm II in the dust.

Booth 1: IDSFA Booth 2: Cacodemon
You wouldn't want to take a bite out of our Double Big Mac. Especially when he's partnered with Tira-san.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
IDSFA out at Cacodemon almost before the activate, quite eager to finish him off early but Cacodemon is no sloucher either! Alex's bot heads in IDSFA's direction and both bastians meet with a CLANG in the center of the arena! Neither seems able to get underneath the other and so IDSFA reverses to try again. Cacodemon is a bit too eager and hurries into IDSFA's wedge again, and again they are forced into a stalemate! Suddenly IDSFA shows its power by slowly pushing the low wedge backwards, and Cacodemon spins away to try and attack IDSFA's skirts, and succeeds! IDSFA however rolls backwards and away before Cacodemon can fully drive his titanium wedge under and retaliates with a shove to Cacodemon's own side. No luck, and Cacodemon takes a right turn, straight into IDSFA's other side but that defeats him, and now IDSFA's turning at Cacodemon's wedge and again shoves him backwards, and right into the arena wall, holding him there. The Watcher rolls in and shunts the two causing Frank's nippy wedge to release Cacodemon and now the demon comes back at IDSFA! IDSFA again comes forward, but Cacodemon makes a slight turn to the side, and again gets under the skirting! IDSFA tries to roll away again but it seems futile, and now Cacodemon is heading towards DBM's CPZ! CRASH!!! DBM rips into IDSFA's right side, severely scarring the 4mm titanium and sending IDSFA right into the arena side wall nearby! Tira races out of her CPZ but Cacodemon has blocked her route to the imperiled IDSFA. That's not bloody nice of you, Cacodemon! Denying a house robot her fun? And what do you think Tira will do about this? CRASH! Tira smashes Cacodemon's rear end and Cacodemon is flung away from the wall, yet no damage is evident, so Cacodemon is quite lucky! DBM has stopped spinning and is pushing IDSFA against the wall...he seems to be stuck to the wall as one of the hammers is wedged in between IDSFA and the wall...Tira shunts IDSFA further into DBM, and they are REALLY stuck now. Cacodemon isn't going to be left out of this and so tackles Tira while the spinning ring is immobile. Now, Alex, you're supposed to be killing your opponent, not the house robots, and they're especially hard to kill - ah, that's better, IDSFA is now away from DBM, finally. Cacodemon...has wedged Tira against the wall...and is not moving! Perhaps he is taking a look up her skirt - oh I say, how naughty of you, Cacodemon! IDSFA and The Watcher both come at the same time, IDSFA getting at Cacodemon's rear end and The Watcher slamming into the side. IDSFA is now underneath Cacodemon! Can he flip him over with Tira on top? If he does he'll have an enormous advantage! Up goes the flipper – ohhhh...it just wasn't enough...Cacodemon is shunted away but Tira remains on top of the wedge! IDSFA attacks again to attack Cacodemon: again the flipper is under Cacodemon! This is majorly impressive stuff from IDSDA – AND HE'S OVER! Cacodemon has been flipped! And so has Tira! And here comes DBM, the hammers now working and spinning over towards IDSFA! Get out of there, Frank, while you still can! Cacodemon is now moving across the floor again and decided to tackle the pit release button! The pit descends as a result, and IDSFA is away from DBM and now after Cacodemon with a huge advantage! But he's not the only one! Tira will not allow Cacodemon to wedge underneath her and get away with it, and – OH! IDSFA slides into Tira's path! No big crash, as he headed into her spinning direction, and over she goes onto the wedge! Cacodemon stops and backs up, reverse-slamming IDSFA in the side but the skirt is there and it halts the charge from Alex's inverted wedge! BZZT! Oh, Cacodemon has been sent flying by the arena saws, and he's right side up again! Tira is flipped now by IDSFA, and DBM is coming at him again to avenge her – you can't have your cake and eat it too, boys! Apparently all order is gone, and IDSFA is after Cacodemon again, avoiding the hammers of DBM and smacks into Cacodemon's front! Another stalemate, but it's Cacodemon who pushes IDSFA backwards this time...RIGHT INTO DBM'S HAMMERS! CRASH!!! OHHHH!!! The previously damaged side is bent and buckled further! ...and I think that IDSFA's drivetrain has been damaged by that blow!

The Watcher is coming over to count out IDSFA but far too late, and Cacodemon shunts IDSFA in the side again, but is still defeated by that skirt!

IDSFA cuts an arc across the arena, narrowly missing The Watcher, who's started to count him out!
3...2...1...
Cacodemon slams into IDSFA once more at the rear and gets under, pushing him towards the arena wall and into it.

Tengu VII vs. Star 69
Tengu VII sent out Storm II after tying for first place in a judges' decision with IDSFA.
Star 69 ripped apart Wedga Revo 2.0 and then went after Refbot, as a rather startled Cacodemon advanced with him.
Roboteers, stand by...
Booth 1: Tengu VII Booth 2: Star 69
In the arena for the house bots, Tira-san makes a return visit and pairing her is the other female housie, Taki-san.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!
Both machines are spinning, and Star 69 is on the move, crashing into Tengu already! Tengu's blades are stopped but the blow from Star 69 does not do any damage whatsoever to the anti-spinning ring of Tengu, that's good control, but this DOES allow Star 69 to push Tengu around! Tengu can't move away and is now being shoved around, and right into an angle grinder! Ooh...the anti-spinning ring takes the hit harshly being held in place by Star 69, but Tengu seems to be okay. The Watcher comes in as Star 69 tries to hold onto Tengu for as long as it can, but the referee won't let Star 69 hold on for long! A crash is heard as The Watcher shunts Star 69 but Martyn's spinner is holding onto Tengu and The Watcher starts to push Star 69 away, and Tengu is free now, and spinning at dangerous speeds! Star 69 is away from The Watcher, very nearly getting shoved into a CPZ! And now he's spinning up but Tengu is right at him immediately! CRASH!!! Both weapons meet, and it's Star 69 who is the worse off here! One of the five points of the seemingly fading star is slashed brutally, and sent flying! Tengu has also been flung but at a lesser distance, and tips back onto her wheels, and is back and spinning up...greeted by a charge from Star 69, who has come back for more! CRASH!!! Again the two spinners are thrown, and Tengu taking the better of the collisions, and getting back up to speed with her blades. Star 69 doesn't seem to be TOO too damaged, only two of the points on the star have been gashed and he's again recovered from that blow, hurtling towards the whirling dervish that is Tengu and back at full speed! CRASH!!! What a mighty collision! Sparks fly, robots must have died, but they didn't! Star 69 is flung away but Tengu is only sent back a few inches! And Tengu is now spinning again and coming at a weakening Star 69 who is not spinning, another point on the star damaged! CRASH! Tengu smashes into Star 69's chassis, actually getting at the inner circle this time, and it's been torn! Same armour as IDSFA in the previous fight and it's been tattered already! Star 69 is against the wall now and Tengu slams into him without spinning up the blades, possibly having a closer look. Star 69's wheels are moving so that's all right, but not for long! Tengu releases Star 69 from the wall, and Star 69 turns, nicking the angle grinder on the way out, and spinning up again! Is it just me...or is Tengu spinning more slowly than usua – ah, mistake, mistake, the blades are at full speed. Star 69 is the one who's spinning slowly, though! The shell is rotating, but...not fast as it should be, and Tengu takes advantage! CRASH!!! Star 69 is again flung, straight across the arena, and collides with the arena wall, one of the previously damaged points now removed of its blades! Tengu is hardly harmed at all, really looking bloody brilliant this match! Can Star 69 recover from this brutal onslaught? Tengu comes in, tackling Star 69 and pushing it against the wall! Star 69 can't seem to push her back, is it having control problems? Tengu releases the fellow spinner, and Star 69 slowly gets off the wall, not spinning at all. This is bad news as Tengu is back up to full speed and crashing into Star 69 once more! CRASH!!! What a mighty hit! Star 69 is flung, almost along the wall, right into Taki-san's CPZ, armour miserable-looking! Taki lifts up Star 69 as Tengu again gets her bearings and her deadly spin-up back, and...and...FLIP! Star 69 is inverted. Of course that really doesn't matter, Star 69 can run both ways up...or does it? Star 69...is it immobilized? I think so! They are not moving! Tengu strolls in! CRASH!!! More armour removed! Star 69 is losing it all here, armour, weapons, drive, and hope of reaching the heat final! Tira is coming for you, Star 69! And Tengu gets the message and backs into the pit release button...yeah, y'all know what that does now. CRASH!!! Tira meanwhile has attacked the immobile Star 69 and more sparks, this time green and purple thanks to a gimmick installed in our house bot. Star 69 still isn't moving, and The Watcher thinks it's time to let them off the hook! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!

Star 69's ringtone is dead, as is Star 69 itself. Tengu VII advances to the Heat F Final!

Tengu VII vs. Cacodemon
Tengu VII got through a three-way judges' decision leaving Storm II to rot, and then beat Star 69 into more than submission. :-O
Cacodemon helped Star 69 smash up the 11th seed Wedga Revo 2.0, and then surprisingly won a judges' decision over IDSFA.

Booth 1: Cacodemon Booth 2: Tengu VII
Ancalagon the Black, hardly needs a description as you know about his jaws, discs, and mighty flamethrower. Partnering him is the 106kg ramming fury of Asterix Heroicus.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
Don't forget that this is for a place in the Series Semi-Final, and Cacodemon has already smashed into Tengu, and sparks fly as Tengu is glanced away! Only a deflecting blow! OR IS IT?! Look at that, Cacodemon has sustained damage on the right side of the wedge, a great big tear! If that was a deflecting blow I would hate to see a huge CRASH...but Cacodemon seems to be mightier than that! He's stopped the blades now and rammed Holt's spinner, but unable to penetrate the skirting! Tengu therefore is shoved into the wall! WHAM! Cacodemon backs away from the shaken machine and rams Tengu again before she has a chance to spin up! Back into the wall for Tengu, and this is really surprising! Tengu can't get up to full spinning speed! She's being harrassed every two seconds by that low wedge that is Cacodemon! Another slam! Tengu bounces off the angle grinder...and away. Ohhh...Holt is relieved, but MacWilliams isn't letting up in his attack anytime soon! Cacodemon tackles Tengu again before the blades spin up, but Tengu is able to get out of the way near the wall, and Cacodemon slams into it! Ooh, that had to hurt. And now Tengu's spinning up her dangerous speed! Cacodemon turns away from the wall hurtles headlong into the dervish! CRASH! That front wedge takes the full hit, but Tengu goes flying backwards, resting back on her wheels. Cacodemon is quite persistant, and rams Tengu again before the blades are back at full speed, but, also again, Tengu avoids the wall. WHAM! Cacodemon crunches sickeningly against it. Tengu has spun up now and has a go at the exposed rear! CRASH!!! Cacodemon is mashed against the wall, his rear torn to shreds! Tengu manages to remain steady but back prevent Cacodemon from backing into her and pushing her away. Tengu actually pushes back now, this is interesting. Cacodemon however is the pushier here, it seems, and Tengu is surely headed for the wall. WHAM. Tengu is pushed against it. Cacodemon turns to try and slide the wedge under but it fails to do so. Tengu pushes her way along Cacodemon's side, and he keeps at it, and Tengu is again unable to get up to speed! Right into the pit release button they go, opening that pit! OH LORD, TENGU IS INCHES FROM THE PIT! CAN THEY GET HER DOWN?! ...no! Tengu reverses away towards the back of Cacodemon. And to top that all off, the blades are working again and back up to speed! Cacodemon turns around now and once more rams that irritable full-body spinner! CRASH! THE WEDGE IS OFF! Cacodemon is now completely seperated from the titanium wedge, which is now near the arena saws, and wide open for an attack! Cacodemon again rams Tengu but rather sluggishly now. Tengu has really sustained no damage at all during this contest and all the damage has been caused to Cacodemon, but still try and work their way back into the fight! Tengu again hits the wall! WHAM! Holt tries to get Tengu away and does so! Cacodemon turns and rams Tengu again but Tengu rolls away from the ram and spins the blades like she always does! Cacodemon, devoid of a front wedge, does the only thing he can do at this point: RAM!!! CRASH!!! Both robots knocked flying! Tengu crashes into the wall and lands...ON HER SIDE! Can Tengu right herself from this - yes, she can! The blades knock Tengu onto her back, and up pops the arm! Cacodemon however is in worse straits - the front armour is gone revealing the chassis, and there is definitely not as much strength left in the demon as before. Tengu is approaching fast, with her blades spun up, so Cacodemon heads on over to the pit, only to find Tengu has already caught up to him! CRASH! The side wedge takes the hit now, and is severely dented, and Cacodemon is belted away several feet! ...and still, Cacodemon isn't giving up! Tengu is again rammed before achieving desired speeds, and is pushed into Asterix's CPZ! The house robot smashes into Tengu and gets underneath the skirting! Oh...and yes, Tengu is flipped over again! Cacodemon shunts Tengu right into the corner! Tengu's arm comes up but it can't use the srimech from that position! But the clock is ticking down...

Cacodemon gets out of the CPZ as Ancalagon makes his way over, and Tengu pops herself against the wall...and is righted!
6...5...4...
Asterix rams Tengu and keeps it against the wall as Ancalagon's jaw comes in for an attack, but Tengu escapes Asterix's shove and slides out of the CPZ!
3...2...1...
Cacodemon comes forward again and misses Tengu, only to have the FBS shunt him in the rear...
CEASE!
