The Great Cornholio is a Beavis & Butthead-inspired machine with two lifting arms attached to the middle of its rectangular body, and an Ankle Biter-esque sawblade in front. However its sawblade will be ineffective against...
IDSFA, whom I do not know what that stands for. It's got a front-hinged flipper on its wedge in front, and a rear horizontal disc at the back. It looks similar to Raging Nightmare from S7. Its main tactics are to get in fast and get 'im out fast.
Roboteers, stand by...
Double Whamlet and Asterix Heroicus. 'Nuff said.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
It's TGC who makes the first move, ramming IDSFA with the sawblade. No damage. IDSFA responds with a flip that sends TGC belly up. TGC pops the lifting arms up and falls back onto the wedge of IDSFA, who heads over to Double Whamlet's CPZ. Whamlet whacks TGC with the twin axes, and a small whoosh confirms the fact that Asterix has just entered the scene as well. TGC is stuck in Whamlet's grasp now. IDSFA backs away to give Asterix more room for killing, and now it's a house robot party on The Great Cornholio! Tony is peeved about this but it seems there's no way he can get away, for Whamlet shows no signs of releasing him! IDSFA now decides that blowing the scene was a bad idea and heads back. By now TGC is really looking miserable, the top all punctured and a huge hole is there amid smaller ones. IDSFA reenters but Whamlet's grabbing axe is in the way! So IDSFA picks on Asterix and gets under his side. Asterix is oblivious to all of this and can only wonder why the world has suddenly gone sideways as he is tipped onto his shoulder. Now with that out of the way, IDSFA moves in with the rear disc and hits TGC's sawblade with the disc. Ka-boom! The sawblade comes off! And something sparks inside of TGC, setting him alight! It can clearly be seen from the top, thanks to Whamlet, who is now destroying TGC's internals. What a pathetic opponent, Frank thinks to himself, and drives IDSFA back to his spot because there's nothing more to see here. Whamlet, still grappling and hacking the corpse of TGC, heads over to the pit release and opens the pit. Then, whirling around like the dear Professor's cape, he dumps his food in the ground.
CEASE!
Time has run too short for The Great Cornholio. Or too long, depending on how you look at it. IDSFA ADVANCES TO ROUND 2!

Acid Burn is rather Son of Whyachi with the weight switched around. The shufflebot inside the 125kg weapon weighs 25kg. The weapon is supposed to destroy the opponent with as few hits as possible, even if it's only one. It has a slow spin up speed, though.
Killotine: EVO represents Scotland! It's basically a front rammer with a malicious axe that can both hammer and grapple. It's fast, powerful, and it can right itself from all positions. However, he doesn't really like to face spinners such as this one.
Roboteers, stand by...
The housies for the first fight are Tira-san and Ancalagon the Black.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
Killotine is out and away towards Acid Burn, who transfers a little of his huge kJ factor into Killy's front wedge. The blow glances off, and Killotine brings down the axe. Right into the shufflebot. Ouch! The axe penetrates the top armour of the shuffler and sticks in and, to put it bluntly, Acid Burn does not have much pushing power. Killotine makes full use of this advantage and shoves Aaron's killer towards the pit release button. Bump: right into it, and the pit descends slowly. Killotine turns around, and releases the shufflebot...who falls into the pit! But hold on! Acid Burn is suspended above the pit by his (not-)spinning cage! So to rid himself of all cares, Killotine proceeds to hammer the crap out of him. You know, only one hit determined the winner of this fight. Now the house bots close in and aid Killotine in the disposal of Acid Burn. Ancalagon opens those godly-powerful jaws and crunches down on the cage. Tira gives a schmack to the other side, resulting in colourful sparks not unlike the colour of Chaos Emeralds...ring a bell, Prof.? Anyway, it's now clear that Acid Burn is completely in the hands of the house bots, as Ancalagon pulls a Sir Killalot and spins around with Acid Burn in his jaws, wrenching him from the pit and suddenly letting go. The 150kg Acid Burn goes flying across the arena and lands right-side-up. Tira is immediately in his face, and Killotine a second later, combining their strength to reduce the shuffler into scrap metal on wheels. Killotine brings down the axe once more, and grappling the cage brings him back to the pit. Erm...Acid Burn doesn't seem to fit into the pit. Oh wait, a sideways shove, aaaaand...BOOM! Bye-bye!
CEASE!
Acid Burn didn't even have enough time to warm up a choco-chip cookie. KILLOTINE: EVO ADVANCES TO ROUND 2!

Storm II is the 2nd seed of the Seventh Wars. He's basically a rectangular box with a front wedge (and skirts all around), and a small flipping arm. The main fear is the power of this bad boy. He's able to shove just about anybody anywhere he wants to. He's not that effective inverted though.
Mega Masher 2 comes to the Crash & Burn Tournament with a roar. He's based on Battlebots' SHW bot Minion, with a front wedge and a rear vertical cutting blade, and also a self-righting bar from the sides. Unlike Minion, he's got 4WD and he can run inverted as well.
Roboteers, stand by...
Obelix Bulgous and Double Big Mac are in for the second fight.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
It's Storm who is immediately out of his spot and away towards Mega Masher. Mega Masher, instead, retreats towards the arena wall, with hopes that Storm will ring himself out. That halts Storm. He's not going to be made a fool of, and instead whirls around and again to Mega Masher's side. Mega Masher runs over the wedge and does a 3-wheeled bicycle, whirling around himself to land back down. Storm advances again and Mega Masher turns and buries the disc into Storm's wedge! CRASH! WOAH! No damage! And Storm is still advancing, right back into the disc, stopping it, and ramming Mega Masher into the wall opposite! Mega Masher tilts up diagonally and crashes down beside Storm. Storm does not stop there, but continues carrying Mega Masher into the CPZ! Obelix takes this as a compliment and so gratefully brings down the hammer on the 3mm steel on top of Mega Masher and his wedge. DBM slowly twists his away towards them all, like an F5 tornado. Mega Masher and Storm get the warning and back away, but Mega Masher is too quick, and Storm charges into him from behind, right into DBM! CRASH!!! AHHHHH!!! What a hit! Mega Masher's wedge panel just went flying along the floor and bounces off of Obelix, who just for the hell of it proceeds to pound it into a pulp. DBM himself got launched back into his CPZ and almost went onto his back! The Storm team look smug as Storm easily slides underneath Mega Masher's wedge-less front and slams him disc-first into the arena wall! CRASH! Mega Masher is sprung back over Storm and lands with the disc on top. Storm reverses and gives Mega Masher some more arena wall. Mega Masher is really starting to look sad, the front exposed and panels around it all bent up. Storm turns around with Mega Masher still under him and gives him a little flick with the arm. At this, Mega Masher is propped up against the arena wall and unable to do anything. And that's all she wrote folks. As to verify this, Storm gets the arm under Mega Masher again and another little flick sends us a message, the message that Mega Masher is indeed out of the arena and out of the competition.
CEASE!
Mega Masher mashed around by the superior power of his opponent. STORM II ADVANCES TO ROUND 2!

Disc-O-Inferno, from Series 4, is a short, wide box with a front horizontal disc going at 3000rpm. It's invertible, but it's got questionable armour and it can be got under easily. It won the second Annihilator of Extreme 1.
Salamander III is Alex Holt's beloved axlebot spinner. Its tires are pretty tough and the weapon is pretty tough too. It's also a horizontal disc, and it's significantly more powerful than Disc-O-Inferno's. However, it's pretty easy to toss.
Roboteers, stand by...
Taki-san raises her wedge in her CPZ, whilst Exa-Gore-Ic: AI closes both sets of pincers omniously.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
Salamander jumps the gun almost before "ACTIVATE!" is called and gets a hit in on Disc-O's side, smashing a piece of lexan off. Disc-O retaliates with a hit to Salamander's tire. Alex is peturbed to see a shred of rubber fall off the wheel. Salamander spins around and smacks his other tire into Disc-O's side, not doing damage but annoying him slightly. Disc-O charges and Salamander is ready, and both discs meet! CRASH!!! *GASP* Disc-O-Inferno's disc is in pieces on the arena floor! (And as this is my tournament and not Series 3, Disc-O-Inferno is not disqualified unlike Pussycat when he hit Scutter's Revenge and the blade went flying in pieces. ) Now in immediate peril, Disc-O no longer has a disc and perhaps maybe we should call him O. Anyway Salamander marvels to see that the match has turned in his favour, and after his quick surprise he comes back to earth and rips off some more armour from Disc-O. Disc-O backs up all the way into the pit release button and - WHOA! Salamander nearly landed himself in the pit! Disc-O circles the pit, hoping Salamander will take the feint and take the fall, but Salamander spins and meets Disc-O's front end with the flywheel, and pieces of Disc-O fly around the arena! Added to this is the fact that Disc-O has stopped moving. Salamander pushes Disc-O in the pit to finish this just-over-a-minute match.
CEASE!
Disc-O-Inferno should've been built 30 years ago - at least then he would've been in style. SALAMANDER III ADVANCES TO ROUND 2!

IDSFA had an easy time with The Great Cornholio, and then tipped Asterix onto his side.
Salamander III destroyed the innards of Disc-O-Inferno, and to complete the dominance shoved him down the pit.
Roboteers, stand by...
Taki-san is back again, and joining the Rebellion 2 runner-up is Double Big Mac.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!
It's awn! And it's already heating up as IDSFA has rammed Salamander head-on, preventing the disc from reaching its speed anmd dishing out its pain. FLIP! Salamander is inverted! But Salamander is slowly getting the disc up to speed. IDSFA dismisses this chance and gets under Salamander from the back, giving another toss! Alex slows down Salamander's blade, and it only lightly nicks the arena floor. But that sends Salamander back on top of ISDFA's wedge! FLIP! Salamander is shtowed disc-first against the arena wall. Hmm...I can't see an OOTA from that position. Eventually, The Watcher comes over, and shunts IDSFA in the side. Frank gives the thumbs-down and resignedly removes IDSFA from Salamander's backside. Salamander retreats and barely escapes a charge, running a wheel over ISDFA's entire ramp and missing the rear disc. IDSFA backs up, but Salamander again avoids an early ending and swivels around - to meet IDSFA's side! CRASH!!! Oh, what a devastating blow! IDSFA just got a huge gash ripped in his 4mm titanium, courtesy of the power of that hardox flywheel from Salamander, and was sent flying! Salamander knows now that the fight is his to win and closes in on his enemy. IDSFA is not quite done yet and scurries away, getting the flipper under the tire and flipping. Salamander is tossed a bit and lands with the disc pointing away. IDSFA moves in again and succeeds in his previous tactic of getting under the backside, but overlate; Salamander slides off the wedge and cuts away past the tip of the wedge. IDSFA follows, but Salamander spins and points the flywheel at him. IDSFA is more cautious, and doesn't want any more damage to be caused. Salamander senses weakness, and advances. IDSFA reverses in turn, but is too late to spin around and flee, and Salamander's disc hits the exposed side again! CRASH!!! And pieces of IDSFA are strewn all across the floor! It's almost disgusting, to quote Tim Green. And IDSFA has lost his left wheel drive, and is now moving around back and forth in an arc. Salamander smells the death scent of IDSFA and moves in for the kill. CRASH!!! Salamander buries the disc in, and WHOA! One of the rams that powers the lifter is ripped clean out, and is thrown out a little! IDSFA turns around, but the disc is also immobile! Salamander gives him another smash, and the flipper comes loose, dangling by a ram and one of the hinges! IDSFA tries desperately to get away, but it's pretty useless if you've only got 2WD...on one side. Salamander delivers the eventual coup-de-grace, tearing through the electronics and mechanics inside. At that, IDSFA becomes imobilized. Without warning, or word from The Watcher, Taki screams out of her CPZ and collides with the wreck, scattering IDSFA pieces all across the floor! Salamander decides to back off, and thinks it's better to leave the rest of this to the housies. DBM moves slowly over, and with a great slam of his hammers, he removes the pit release button from the wall...onto the pit, which descends. Stop destroying our arena! Jeez, even the house bots have turned on me...anyway, Taki carries the smoking heap to the pit, and dumps him in.
CEASE!
IDSFA is now IDSFC, which stands for "Indefinitely Destroyed Smoking Farm Compost". SALAMANDER III ADVANCES TO THE HEAT H FINAL!!

Storm II finally took out the might of Mega Masher 2 and threw him over the fence, adding another OOTA to his scoresheet.
Killotine: EVO won a ridiculously easy fight that could've gone the other way had Acid Burn got up to speed in time.
Roboteers, stand by...
It's Asterix Heroicus and Exa-Gore-Ic: AI who represent the house bots this time around.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!
And both robots collide in the arena with a crash. Storm, being the lower, slides under Killotine and carries him to the wall! WHAM! Killotine bounces off the wall and behind Storm, who advances again. He again gets under Killotine, even with the rear skirt with his own and slams Killotine into the reverse wall! Killotine bounces on top of Storm, but burns the top of Storm with his tires, revving up and off of him and positioning for the sides. Storm instead goes and hits the pit release button. Killotine races by the opening pit and gets under the side skirts of Storm. Down comes the axe! AHH! No way! Storm is grapped! And right near the pit too...how sad. Well it's too late for Storm as Killotine dumps him in and puts a very surprising and upsetting end to this quick match.
CEASE!
Storm II wasn't even as stormy as Tempest Evil-er-oution. KILLOTINE: EVO ADVANCES TO THE HEAT H FINAL!!

Killotine: EVO took out both of his opponents rather quickly and wants to join his brother Clawdius in the Series Finals.
Salamander III made short work of Disc-O-Inferno before shredding the crap out of IDSFA. He's the only Holt bot left to attempt a jump at the Series Finals.
Roboteers, stand by...
Tira-san and Double Whamlet don't want to miss this fight at all! Neither do I.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
Killotine immediately heads for the pit release button, ramming it directly, and opens the pit, just to make sure that there is a hole to drag Salamander to. Salamander, however, does not intend on getting dragged anywhere, unless it's to the Series Final, and smashes Killotine's backside! Killotine spins a bit, and is now directly facing Salamander! Salamander is now in a state of 'whoa nelly!' and backs away, but Killotine is too fast and slams against the motionless disc. Perhaps he was too fast, for he overshot his mark and landed himself beside Salamander, turning him! The latter reverses again and gets the disc up to speed! Killotine registers this with a dart to Salamander's side, but, just as swiftly, Salamander turns slightly, pointing the disc at the opposition, and then advances. Killotine reverses and suddenly fires the axe! OH NO! Killotine's axe is stuck in one of the holes in the flywheel, and the axe head has been pulled into the disc axle, smashing it off, and jolting Killotine in the process! This looks bad for our Scottish friend...Killotine shakes off the tremor and pushes Salamander into the wall, holding him there, but almost at the edge of the CPZ! Whamlet is nearby and twin-axes the axle of Salamander, nearly missing a tire! Salamander does a nifty little spin, out of Killotine's grasp, off of Whamlet's scoop and away! Both Killotine and the house bot seem cheesed off at this maneouver, and Whamlet goes out of his CPZ for some revenge! Salamander meets Whamlet's charge with a disc blow! CRASH!!! AHHHHH!!! Whamlet's scoop has been torn right off...but still the lifter that was part of the scoop remains! Tira has had enough of this and comes out, ring spinning lethally. Salamander dodges her charge, and now everybody seems to be picking on Salamander! Alex seems to chuckle at this because none of the house bots nor Killotine are capable of catching and damaging him at this point. Killotine suddenly catches Salamander, and shoves him - TOWARDS THE PIT - NO!!!!!!! AND KILLOTINE NEARLY PUTS HIMSELF IN!!! What an escape! Salamander juts out the right wheel as he was shoved and rolls the other over the pit, and that wheel connected with the floor of the other side! Killotine at that moment had the wedge over, and stopped at the nick of time! Now that the scary part is over, we continue with the fight. Salamander spins up the disc and nearly catches the upraised what-was-once-an-axe bar of Killotine, nicking the wedge instead. Both housies have returned to their CPZs and are eagerly watching the fight. Killotine gets under Salamander again and slams him into the wall! Salamander topples and lands behind Killotine, who can't reverse in time and misses Salamander. Salamander again gets the disc up-to-speed, and finding Killotine's rear end rams the flywheel into the corner! OUCH! A gash is ripped on one of the sides, and a panel is bent outwards on the other! Killotine is determined not to lose and so takes a leaf out of his last victim's book, using his wedge and power to ram Salamander around. Salamander avoids Tira's CPZ and the flame pit, spinning around and being tilted by another charge from the Scottish bot. The flywheel is now back at full speed and smacks against Killotine's side! Another gash! Some sparks! And one cheesed Scotsman. Killotine attempts a ram again, but Salamander revs around and pushes his stopped disc into Killotine's other side, so as to steer Killy in a circle. Killotine points the wedge at Salamander, but the latter reverses and Killotine has to chase him down again.
10...9...8...7...
Salamander turns around and batters the wedge of Killotine with the disc again.
6...5...4...
Killotine spins away but comes back on the attack. However Salamander rams him from the side with the disc.
3...2...1...
Killotine spins Salamander away and rears into him.
CEASE!
To the judges we do go!
Killotine: EVO - Salamander III
Aggression - (4-1) Damage - (1-4) Style - (2-3) Control - (3-2) Strategy - (2-3)
