Okay! Here we go!
LET THE ROBOT REBELLION BEGIN!!!
Fight 1: Flick of the Wrist VS. Tira-san
Representing the competitors is Flick of the Wrist, a Tornado-like robot with 6 wheels, an angled rear, 22mph top speed, and B42-500 Mags @ 48v, providing devastating power to provide with its two hardox, diamond-tipped lifting spikes, similar, to Vladiator's single one. He's fought Tira before and was beaten. He's back for revenge!
TGRR1 - Made it to the semi-finals but was beaten by Tira.
Representing Team Gore is Tira-san, a dangerous redesign of the older version. A hexagonal-yet-pointed-at-the-front shape, she has a spinning disc/inertia similar to the actual weapon, only it's purple. When she hits an opponent, sparks fly, only they're green and purple! She also has a righting mechanism for when she's upended.
TGGR1 - Made it to the finals but was beaten by ArchAngel of the Abyss
Will Tira make it 2-0? Or will Flick of the Wrist avenge his previous loss?

The Watcher is the arena, ready to count out the first unlucky robot that goes out of comission.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
Off we go! And it's Flick, who wants to avoid that deadly spinning flywheel but goes to ram Tira first. Tira glides out of ramming range, and Flick crashes into the wall. Tira moves in again, hungering for some death, but Flick moves away, avoiding the now up-to-speed flywheel. Ooh, this is dangerous...Tira advances on Flick, but Flick, having 7mph more speed than her, avoids her unsuccessful attempts to dish out some pain. Flick then gets an idea and hits the pit release? He's trying to shove Tira down the pit? NO! Flick is trying to break off the pit release button, and yes it's now off! Look at the resourcefulness of Martijn and his robots - he's using our beloved pit release button as a shield to block Tira's attacks! Tira is more cautious now, and it's now Tira who's trying to avoid Flick's charges, but it won't be long now, since Flick has better speed and acceleration than Tira does. Eventually, they collide, and the pit release button is smashed away as a burst of colourful sparks litter the arena floor! Flick seizes the opportunity and slides the spikes under Tira, and lifts! Tira finds herself off her wheels, and in a truly frightening situation, but it's about to become downright terrifying as Flick lines himself up with an angle grinder far away, and flies at it! Tira is smashed against the grinder and up onto her back, and Flick lands on top of her. He wheels off of her, and tries the spikes again. Then the srimech snaps into play as Tira re-enacts the Cassius display in Series 2, landing gracefully, right-side-up, and right behind Flick! Flick wastes no time, rearing into Tira, and stopping the flywheel before it gets to a dangerous speed. Tira rolls away before being slammed into the arena wall again. WHAT THE?! The Watcher just fell down the pit! Oh, how dreadful...anyway, Tira gets the flywheel back up to speed just as Flick rams her again, and HOLY FLYING METAL BATMAN! What piece of shrapnel just flew across the arena? It's a piece of Flick of the Wrist, all right. Yes, you can see part of the front of the robot has a great gash in it, and that damage was caused by Tira! Flick is spun away and retreats again, trying to find the pit button again, and gets it, but instead of gently turning to keep the button at the front, he accidentally whisks the button away! Tira hurries to get between Flick and the pit release button, Flick hurrying more to GET TO the button. Flick wins the race and again flicks the button, but at Tira this time. Tira smashes the pit button away and Flick rams her immediately, getting under her and lifting her. Oh! Tira is on top of Flick...almost, well, she's on top of him and his spike, and now Tira's flywheel is spinning! If Flick had a mouth, he would've been smiling as he turns to face the arena wall again. He rams against it full force and Tira hits the wall with the flywheel. CRASH!!! WOAH! Tira goes flying! Sparks go flying! The crowd "ooh"s and "ahh"s, and Martijn is applying his tactics extremely well right now! And it looks like they've taken their toll on Tira's weapon! It's completely stopped! The invisible mouth on Flick must a wide grin now, mirroring the one on his builder's face as he rams Tira against the wall. Tira bounces back over and wheels away, desperately trying to find a way to win this battle but I don't think there's anything she can do now as Flick chases her down, trying to get those deadly spikes under Tira, and throw this she-devil out of the tournament! Look at this! The Watcher is trying to lift hmself out of the pit! This seems to catch Flick's attention, and he gets under Tira again, and heads to the pit, where The Watcher is stuck. He rams Tira into The Watcher, freeing the ref, but Tira almost falls into the pit! And Flick, backing away, charges again, and Tira is sent down, down, down into her resting place!

Tira flies away to fight another day. FLICK OF THE WRIST GETS HIS REVENGE AND ADVANCES TO ROUND 2!

Fight 2
Representing the competitors (and James Baker) is Wheely Big Cheese 2, who is almost exactly like the current version except that its flips are even more extremely powerful than before. Basically, it's an axlebot with a huge flipper. It also has wheels that are almost impervious to damage.
TGRR1 - Did not compete
Representing Team Gore is Obelix Bulguous, a double wedge (think --> \===\ ) with a large, hefty hammer. He's not that easy to get over onto his back because he weighs 190kg, but since he's fighting the 'Cheese, we'll see.
TGRR1 - Was thrashed by ArchAngel of the Abyss in Round 1.

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
Who will prevail? That is the question we want to know as Wheely Big Cheese 2 slides underneath Obelix Bulguous - oh, there's a flip already! Obelix onto its back very near the arena wall! And he's using the hammer to right himself, but WBC comes in again and...misses his mark. Obelix brings down the hammer but misses as well. WBC is trying to bring that gigantic flipper into play but Obelix is a bit too nippy despite his weight. Remember, that flipper on WBC is ultra-powerful this time around AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT OBELIX HAS FELT THE DEATH BLOW, AS HE IS FLIPPED OUT OF THE ARENA!!! Take a look at this, the 'Cheese swiftly sliding under the house robot and absolutely tossing it across and out of the arena! Must've been...14 seconds! That was flippng good fun!

Fight 3
Representing the competitors is Shovearound 2, a low-profile robot with a set of lifting forks that can haul up 150kg easily. It's also impossible to get under with the skirts and hinged wedges. However, the opponent is much too heavy for the forks.
TGRR1 - Did not compete
Exa-GORE-Ic: Artificial Intelligence, who's representing Team Gore, weighs 400kg, is invertible, and has really tough armour. However, its main feature, the set of pincers on both sides that can crush almost any armour, may not work well with Shovearound 2's low profile.
TGGR1 - Was also thrashed by ArchAngel of the Abyss.

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
It's on, as Exa-Gore-Ic charges out towards Shovearound 2, who immediately gets in under the front pincers and lifts. Exa-Gore-Ic is merely tipped up a bit. Tony decides that that's all he'll need, and Shovearound 2 proceeds to slowly move towards the wall. Could he possibly be thinking of dumping Exa-Gore-Ic OOTA? Yes, that seems to be his plan as Exa-Gore-Ic is shoved gently into the wall. Shovearound 2 tries to get more leverage so he can get Exa-Gore-Ic out. Then Exa-Gore-Ic rolls forward and lands on Shovearound 2 with a rather nasty crunch. Shovearound 2 attempts a different tack and backs towards the wall opposite. Exa-Gore-Ic feels like he isn't getting anything done, which he isn't and rolls off of Shovearound 2, but he's too close to the opposite wall and runs into it, and once again lands on Shovearound 2. Tony works the controls with slight irritation, because even though he's winning, this fight isn't really going the way he wanted it to. So Shovearound 2 decides to end this fight and heads over to the pit, the big house robot on his back. But Exa-Gore-Ic rolls off of him again and Shovearound 2 is slingshot at the pit release button, bouncing off of it like a projectile and opening the pit! Exa-Gore-Ic heads towards Shovearound 2 and is trying to grab him with the pincers but that seems pretty much nil at the moment because of Shovearound 2's extremely low height. Shovearound 2 gets under the big guy again and slowly pushes him into the wall. Exa-Gore-Ic gets away and closes the pincers a bit, trying to fit the width/length of Shovearound 2 so that he can't escape if he gets caught, if at all. Shovearound 2 is more cautious now, approaching Exa-Gore-Ic from the side and again shoving it into the wall. Exa-Gore-Ic turns and rides right over top of Shovearound 2, who tries to back Exa-Gore-Ic into the other wall but the house robot is a little faster than Tony expected. Exa-Gore-Ic turns around, and Shovearound 2 drives straight into the pincers! OH NO! Exa-Gore-Ic has caught the very top of Shovearound 2 and now the top panel! Has it come off I wonder? Yes, it's barely hanging to the back of him! Shovearound 2, getting away to fight another day, and Exa-Gore-Ic in prime position to immobilize Shovearound 2 by simply driving over him! Shovearound 2 is now by the floor flipper, and now driving around again, now stopping, now moving. Kind of trying to disorient Exa-Gore-Ic, and I believe it is working, because Exa-Gore-Ic is being outmaneouvered left and right, up and down! Shovearound 2, now near the pit, better be careful. Exa-Gore-Ic is not going near the pit, knowing full well what will happen after that. Shovearound 2 gathers the same idea and rushes out to get under Exa-Gore-Ic, indeed doing so and lifting the forks up, gently nudging the big house robot up and driving it around. Ah! The flame pit! Shovearound 2 delivers Exa-Gore-Ic to the big grill, and Exa-Gore-Ic is now being fried to a crisp! Here's Shovearound 2 again, backing away, sliding in again, going onto the flame pit himself! He backs away, but Exa-Gore-Ic does not appear to be fully functional, moving extremely slow, moving away from the flame pit. Shovearound 2 senses that the match is about to end and gets under Exa-Gore-Ic again, and tries to turn around with the big house robot on the forks! And Exa-Gore-Ic lands right on top of Shovearound 2 and I think that's it! Neither robot is moving, nor are their wheels! The Watcher comes in, and counts both robots out!

Fight 4
Representing the competitors is Chris Cooper's Love Bite v2.0. It's a double wedge with front pincers that can damage light-moderate armour, and it also has a front Firestorm-style flipper used mainly for self-righting. It's also got good speed, acceleration, and tough armour.
TGRR1 - Did not compete
Representing Team Gore is Double Whamlet. He's got a plow with a lifting arm built-in. He's also got twin axes and Splinter-esque grabbing arms. He's also pretty fast, and has decent armour.

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
And both robots bolt out at each other and Love Bite goes sailing over Whamlet, Whamlet hacking Love Bite's underbelly as he does so. Love Bite whirls around and goes for the rear of Whamlet, but Whamlet has already turned around! Love Bite swivels a bit to try and get to the side, but Whamlet barrels into him and flicks him up a bit with the lifting arm. He then starts hammering the side of Love Bite with the twin axes! Love Bite's wheels are completely off the ground, and all Mr. Cooper can do is watch in horror as the side panel of Love Bite takes more and more damage. And then Whamlet's motors burst into life and he moves. Fast. Towards the arena wall. And that resulting WHAM signifies this house robots name as Love Bite is slammed and sent flying, bounces along the arena railing, and lands inverted near the angle grinder. The Firestorm flipper comes into play but Whamlet comes in again and runs under him, slamming him into the CPZ area! Love Bite can't do a damn thing now, as it is propped up like an unsteady statue against the CPZ corner as Whamlet continues to deal out the blows. And Love Bite has started to smoke through the flipper slots...this doesn't look too good for Chris Cooper. And Whamlet has got Love Bite now with the grabbing arms; one's hooked at the top, and the other one is scratching the underbelly. And Love Bite now is completely helpless in the grasp of Whamlet, who now reels backwards into the pit release, opening the pit, and Love Bite is about to enter robot hell, and...yes, down goes the first competitor of the robot rebellion. Three to one.

Representing the competitors is Leprosy Infection, a robot shaped like Tetanus Booster from Series 7; an invertible vapourbot with bars on the sides to prevent being stuck on its sides, and a vicious spinning drum in front. However, though the wheels are semi-protected, they are still vulnerable to axes.
TGRR1 - Did not compete.
Representing Team Gore is Taki-san, a Rammstein-shaped she-ninja with an electric lifting wedge, a rear cutting blade, phenomenal pushability and speed, and good armour. However, like Leprosy, her wheels are exposed from the top. Can Taki pull a Wedge Devolution and defeat Leprosy?
TGRR1 - Was competely destroyed by The Disc 5 in Round 1.

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
Taki screams out of her spot and collides with Leprosy's drum. Leprosy is sent flying up in the air and crashes down into the floor rather noisily while Taki is thrown back a bit. Leprosy turns somewhat to find the pit release but Taki doesn't give him a chance to get the hell away and starts pressurizing him towards the flame pit. Leprosy does some serious scurrying away and Taki is flying after him with the intent of scooping him onto the wedge. Leprosy is still running away and it doesn't seem like that'll win him brownie points with the judges. Taki turns around and reverses with the cutting blade. Let's see...yup, that blade looks very much up to speed. Leprosy also has his weapon up to speed and now both bots are trying to outmaneouver each other. Finally we get a hit and holy flying metal, Batman! Shards from Taki's left side are sent flying across the floor! Uh oh. Taki races away and Leprosy is now the aggressor, chasing her down and hoping to destroy her. Taki seems to think better of this because now she spins around and exposes that deadly cutting blade again. Leprosy goes too fast and collides with it. Holy flying sparks, Batman! It's a light show! :-O Taki is sent flying up onto her back and Leprosy is smashed across the floor. Taki seems to have recovered from the blow and though being inverted has the electric wedge in play again. Leprosy seems to be in a stupor. :-O He finally awakes from the stupor when Taki nudges him with the wedge and sprints away towards the pit again. Taki follows. Leprosy turns around and buries the drum into Taki's wedge. No effect. Taki turns tail and bolts. Leprosy follows. Taki stops retreating and buries the blade into Leprosy's half-up-to-speed drum and holy flying sparks Batman! Again! Leprosy has been flung into the wall! He lands and Taki immediately barrels him into it again. Leprosy seems to be in a stupor again because the wheels are not moving, but that is thrown aside as the wheels DO move and carry Leprosy off the wedge and over top of Taki. Taki buries the blade into the not-moving drum. Ouch! Ooh, not good for Leprosy, because a piece of drum has been smashed off! Leprosy retreats again and Taki follows, and Leprosy smashes himself right into the pit release, and Taki smashes into him, flinging him over top of her and INTO THE PIT?! Ouch. Game over for Leprosy. No brownie points for you!

Fight 6
Representing the competitors is our current champion, ArchAngel of the Abyss! He's a deadly FBS, but since he's a walker, he weighs 150kg! He has two spinning rings, a lower one, and the main one. Both rings are extremely destructive, and ArchAngel can right itself when inverted. Are there any weaknesses to exploit?
TGRR1 - Won the tournament!
Representing Team Gore is Double Big Mac, a low-cone shape with 4 sets of 2 spinning spiked hammers. Weighing 175kg, he isn't the easiest to knock over, but unlike ArchAngel, whom he outweighs by 25kg, he has no srimech.
TGRR1 - Was beaten by Stop Crying Your Heart Out in Round 2.

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
ArchAngel and DBM get their spinning weapons up to speed, and then, very cautiously, they approach each other. ArchAngel swerves off to the right, possibly looking for some direction to smash DBM, but DBM travels right towards him! CRASH!!! ...no words come to mind when I see this collision. Actually, some just appeared. A huge shower of sparks results, and DBM has now gone completely gyroscopic, spinning around like crazy, and coming to rest on his wheels. ArchAngel, however, is now in a state of panic. Flames are spouting from the champion very fast, and he lost some teeth from that hit! Uh oh, not good at all. DBM decided to take the coward's way out and run away from ArchAngel, slamming into the pit release and opening the pit! ArchAngel is continuing to plough on valiantly, still spinning his outer shell up to half-speed. DBM is unable to spin AT ALL. Something happened to DBM as well. Anyway, DBM is waiting near the pit, possibly hoping ArchAngel will either come over and accidentally fall in the pit, or move away and die. ArchAngel is no coward and reels to get behind DBM and shove him into the pit. DBM senses this and drops away - OH NO! DBM's spinning hammers are active again! And at full speed too! I sense that this fight has just taken a turn for the worse for our champion. ArchAngel struggles to get the lower spinning ring up to speed, but DBM hammers him with a blow and is spun away. More flames. ArchAngel stops spinning...I think this fight is all but over. DBM again waits by the pit. ArchAngel slowly gets his walking system going again and moves towards DBM, who just sits there. There is absolutely no translational movement from DBM. Um...is DBM immobile? The Watcher is confused by this, and so is ArchAngel, who decides to walk into him anyway, and - CRASH! Not as big as the last one, but still powerful, and ArchAngel is sent flying across the arena, but DBM is flung almost into the pit. Neither bot is moving, at all. Now DBM has started to smoke. It seems that big hits were destined to happen in this battle of the titans. The Watcher snaps out of it and starts counting out the one who stopped moving first: DBM! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! Alex can't believe it. He won, even though his vapourbot, the most feared in the FRA, is immobile and on fire. DBM sits on the edge of the pit, looking sad. The Watcher seems to think that he's seen enough, and dumps his teammate in the pit. Game over.

Double Big Mac takes out his opponent, but ends up dying of his own strength first. ARCHANGEL OF THE ABYSS (barely) ADVANCES TO ROUND 2!

Representing the competitors is a real robot entered by a real person. Hannibal comes to us from builder Leo van Miert, and looks like Chaos 2 turned Terminator. Its flipper is very potent and it can go real fast, but can it endure a great ramming?
TGGR1 - Did not compete
Representing Team Gore is Asterix Heroicus, a gaul with a serious strength factor. He may weigh only 106kg, but he's got great strength and pushability, plus a top speed of 50mph! He needn't worry about his exposed wheels in this battle, but his sides may prove vulnerable to flipping.
TGRR1 - Was dumped in the pit in the Final by Stop Crying Your Heart Out

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
ACK! That's twice today that a robot has broken the sound barrier - WOAH! Asterix flew over the top of Hannibal and almost landed himself out of the arena, hitting the railing and bouncing back! Now that he's come to his senses, he can worry about Hannibal who's coming towards him right now! Asterix dodges the charge with ease, and Hannibal ends up tossing himself up a bit. Asterix finds the pit release and hammers it, opening the pit. Hannibal drives into the CPZ farthest from the pit and Asterix comes flying at him. Hannibal turns...and that wasn't such a good idea because Asterix, safe from going over the flipper, gets under Hannibal near the wall, going exceptionally fast, and a split-second later - WHAM! What an impact! I'll be surprised if neither bot took any damage from that impact! There goes Hannibal flying above Asterix and landing inverted behind him! This is it! Asterix rears into Hannibal, but because of his shape, Asterix can't shove Hannibal into the pit! How rare. Hannibal rights himself and comes back on the offensive. Asterix wheels, almost sidesteps the charge, and drives into Hannibal, getting under the back and once again slamming him into the wall! Hannibal travels the same trajectory as he did the last time and lands behind Asterix, this time on his side, and tilts on his wheels. Asterix spins around, but Hannibal has the flipper ready and one flick of the weapon tells us that Asterix is now inverted! Asterix wobbles a little bit, possibly trying to get back into the feeling of being inverted, but Hannibal gives him no tim to think, flipping Asterix again. Asterix is shunted over and right-side-up, and gets away, making Hannibal flip air. Asterix wheels around and lunges at Hannibal, who is recovering from his own recoil from his flip. WHAM! Hannibal goes over top of Asterix before the wall hath come and rights himself. Leo works the controls patiently, waiting for Asterix to make a slip-up. Apparently, Asterix is waiting for Hannibal to slip-up as well. Stand-off, anyone? Asterix makes the first move, which is good for him because the extremely low wedge gets under the flipper and Asterix has got Hannibal now. Asterix slings the almost-sliding-off-the-wedge Hannibal with one twist. Hannibal does an about face and bores down on Asterix. WOAH! Asterix nearly reversed into the pit, passing it by an inch! Oh no! Something is wrong with Hannibal! He seems to be moving in one direction only: forward! The reverse drive is gone, and something in that last collision has done that to Hannibal! Asterix smells the scent of death on Hannibal and gets around to the side and rams him. Hannibal is driven into the wall. Hannibal gets under the wedge and flips Asterix up and over. Asterix seems unphased and rams Hannibal again into the wall. Hannibal is turned towards the angle grinder, and the flipper is under it! Hannibal can only go forward, and now he's stuck beneath an arena weapon! This doesn't look good! And Asterix is preparing for the big wind-up, which he indeed is doing right now, and there he goes! WHAM! Mighty collision! And Hannibal hasn't moved! Asterix went back a few inches and nothing happened there! The Watcher is coming over to check things out. It seems that the better bot here is Asterix, and that indeed is being now as The Watcher has checked enough and is starting the countdown. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!

Representing the competitors is 616, an invertible box with a wedge at front and 10mph top speed, with good acceleration. It also has good armour, but it is not the most thought-out robot here and I have a feeling that it will not do so well.
TGRR1 - Did not compete; his brother SCYHO helped ArchAngel of the Abyss win the tournament!
Representing the competitors is the mightiest of the house robots here, Ancalagon the Black. He's got two vertical flywheels and a very nasty crushing jaw that spouts both flames and fire extinguisher. It can also close down and crush opponents. =P It weighs 800kg, so it's very powerful indeed.

616 races out and immediately meets the closed jaws of Ancalagon, who opens them slowly and spouts flames. 616 gets away and gets around to the side of Ancalagon. Ancalagon turns and slices 616 with the left flywheel. 616 is jousted into the air and lands inverted, definitely not as effective now. Another spout of flames and Ancalagon now has the jaws fully open. Dave Sheppard appears apprehensive, but his robot is much more so as the heaviest house robot advances. 616 tries a different tack and turns around, ramming Ancalagon's left flywheel with the backside. Err...not a good idea. CRASH!!! That...was insanely quick. 616 lay in tatters on the arena floor, its top and back armour ripped right off, and mechanics exposed. Not a doubt that he is immobile. Ancalagon, completely evil, starts destroying 616's internals, and now motors and batteries and wheels and wiring...ugh, Watcher, just end it, please...The Watcher counts the remains of 616 out. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!
