The Crash and Burn house robots in this fight will be ASTERIX, the 105kg robo-gaul with the 45mph speed and 80 degree sloped wedge (with ornaments and ornamental designs that make him resemble himself in the comic), and TIRA, the Ankle Biter-shaped chick-bot with a 5000rpm spinning flywheel (made to look like her SC III weapon) and ornamental design. Their opponents are...
ANEURYSM, with its octagonal shape, 4mm hardox, and insanely powerful 11500rpm flywheel that produces 40bhp and 80kjs. Also invertible, AJ says its strengths are everything, but we'll see. Aneurysm's partner is RADIO FRIENDLY UNIT SHIFTER, an S3 design, but only with the body as a base. It has 15kg spinning bars, but has exposed mechanics, so it has a great vulnerability constant...

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
So it begins! And Aneurysm has spun up as RFUS heads for Asterix, hoping to rip that wedge off. Asterix, with that phenominal speed, hits RFUS before the bars even reach a 1/4 of their speed, getting underneath the axlebot and slamming it against the wall! Aneurysm has now reached maximum speed, and is advancing on Tira, who is all alone. Tira reverses, having 8mph more speed than Aneurysm, and gets away before Aneurysm catches her. RFUS, however, is not having a good time riding around on top of Asterix, but the bars are still spinning wildly. Aneurysm is trying to catch up to Tira, who is trying to get away! Suddenly, Tira grazes the wall, which stops her for a little, and Aneurysm collides with Tira's rear! The back panel comes flying off, but Aneurysm has yet to notice something that collides with his rear: a spinning bar of RFUS! Aneurysm goes flying and lands a few feet away, just as Asterix plows RFUS into him again, and this time RFUS flies off of Asterix! Aneurysm himself now has a panel missing. RFUS, now with one of his bars immobilized, takes a ram at Asterix and shunts him a little. Then he is slammed into the air as the vertical flywheel of Tira connects with the rear of RFUS. A shocked expression forms on Tony's face as a motor is shunted onto the arena floor, and RFUS stops moving entirely. And so the first brave competitor is out! But Aneurysm seems pi$$ed off and decides to take it out on an incoming Tira. Both spinning weapons meet, and a sickening CRUNCH is heard, as Tira goes flying across the arena, to land dead on her back, mangled. Such power Aneurysm delivered. but such power is about to be delivered to him, as Asterix shows by sliding underneath Aneurysm at 45mph, and Aneurysm colliding with the very steep wedge of Asterix bounces into the air and lands on his side, toppling on his wheels. Asterix does not waste any time and gets under Aneurysm again and pulverizes him against the wall. Aneurysm lands on his wheels again and spins up the weapon. Asterix waits for the weapon to be at full speed, and then goes flying at the opposite direction the disc is spinning. CRASH!!! Asterix is flung across the arena, and the wedge panel is ripped off completely, revealing electronics and motors. He lands on his back, though invertible. Aneurysm, however, is now at a disadvantage, as his weapon is not moving. Asterix rears into Aneurysm, and his back panel collides with the immobile disc. Aneurysm shunts forward, and now it is a pushing match. Suddenly Asterix reverses, and lets Aneurysm go forward. Aneurysm pushes Asterix against the wall, and then Asterix pushes back. Wow, a real crowd pleaser . Anyway, The Watcher [the Refbot, if you paid attention] has now counted RFUS and Tira out, and is watching the progress between the two fighters. Suddenly, Asterix pushes Aneurysm across the arena and into the pit release button, opening the hole. Asterix gets away, but the discbot follows him. And now it's another pushing match, with Asterix trying to push Aneurysm into the pit. Another quick shove, and Asterix has almost got Aneurysm in the pit...that's it! Aneurysm has been dumped down the hole! The house robots triumph!

A brave and excellent start for these guys, though they lost. Well done Andy and Tony.

So this time the Crash and Burn house robots in this fight will be SMAUG THE GOLDEN, a 600kg terror to everyone, with 3 nasty flywheels (2 vertical ones at front, one horizontal at rear), a crushing jaw from which flames come out of, and 3 pairs of spikes on the sides. Partnering Smaug is Macbeth, codenamed BIG MAC, a 150kg low cone shape and sporting a spinning ring with 4 hammers. Attached to the hammers are hardox-tipped spikes. The opposition of this duo is...
TYPHOON 2, also a cone shape, but with more height. They have spikes all over the cone to tear through their opponents, but are not invertible. This robot won the Series 7 championship of Robot Wars. His partner in crime is BIOHAZARD, who won Seasons 2, 4, and 5 of Battlebots. He is a very low box with skirts all around, completely made out of titanium. He sports a unique lifting arm that extends out all the way for maximum leverage. However, like Typhoon 2, he is also not invertible, and one flip will eliminate him.

Oh, I'm ready, and so are the others.
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!!!
And all except Biohazard are getting their spinning weapons spinning! Typhoon 2 immediately senses weakness from Big Mac, and spins over to him, Biohazard joining him. Big Mac halts and, rather than reversing away, just simply sits there, waiting for the collision. Typhoon 2 decides to go first, and with all the championship glory in him careens towards the deadly ring spinner. CRASH!!! Never before in Biohazard's presence has a collision so earth-shattering happened before, as a huge shower of sparks lights the arena and Typhoon 2 and Big Mac go flying in opposite directions! The 150kg Big Mac slams into the wall opposite, his spinning hammer ring severed. Typhoon 2, however, has completely been mangled; his side ripped open to expose electronics; and he is no longer spinning; in fact, he is hardly moving, crawling slowly by an inch! Gary Cairns is completely shocked: the look on his face shows an expression of utter disbelief! Biohazard is almost equally shocked, but snaps to it quickly, and so gets under Big Mac, throwing it onto its back and KOing it. Smaug, meanwhile, has not made a move since the match began, and so The Watcher decides to start counting him out. Suddenly, with startling agility, Smaug blasts off, straight at Biohazard, with every intent on tearing the electronics out from him. Biohazard reverses, seeing the imminent danger approaching, but Smaug is too quick. The front jaws, however, go over Biohazard, and Carlo, mopping his brow, activates the lifting arm. Up, up, up goes Smaug, and the rear horizontal disc touches the floor! Smaug spins off of Biohazard, and lands in front of him with a great clatter. Biohazard advances again, but Smaug turns a little, and the disc on the side of the front hits the tip of Biohazard's arm. CRASH!!! Another great smash, and Biohazard goes flying upwards in another general shower of sparks! Luckily for him, he does a 360 and lands right back on his wheels. The bad news: the tip of the lifting arm is completely gone. Smaug has hardly moved; in fact, he is attacking Biohazard again! CRASH!!! Now the left side skirt of Biohazard takes the hit and flies off, gone OOTA! Biohazard does another 360 and again lands on - NO! Smaug has gotten under the skirted champion and clamped him. Figuring that the titanium-coated low-skirted-box-on-wheels has had enough punishment, Smaug opens the pit, and dumps what was once the proud Battlebots heavyweight champion into the pit of doom.
CEASE!
A major mashing, if I do say so myself! Both champions mangled, mauled, and completely stripped of dignity. Typhoon 2 and Biohazard out!

It's time for another team-up on house robots. And these two housies aren't the least…
First is WHAMLET, a 150kg son-of-a-gun with 30mph speed, and shaped like Shunt (with similar armour), he also has a flipping plow that can send robots of his weight across the arena in a single toss. Engraved on the sides of Whamlet is the line "To wham or not to wham…" Alongside Whamlet is TAKI, a Rammstein-shaped rammer with all-around great strength, and two hardox-tipped spikes in front to impale opponents. She can haul her 125kg weight around with 4 tires at 30mph. In this fight she'll have a ornamental jawpiece.
Fighting these two house robots are THE DISC 5, a bar-bell shaped ~100kg monster with a frightening…disc, known to carve up opponents and leave them scrapped. Its axle spins with the disc to prevent being grabbed, and its 6 wheels are in a triangle cluster so that it runs on 2 wheels when inverted. Joining The Disc 5 is FLICK OF THE WRIST, a Tornado(or Vladiator)-shaped bot with 6WD and 2 giant lifting spikes that can be used as both ramming spikes and lifting forks, even inverted. It also has a speed of 22mph, thanks to 2 B42-500 Magmotors.

3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!!!
And Whamlet charges out first to meet The Disc 5, who has spun up to speed and that disc looks mighty dangerous - CRASH! And a nice gash in the plow has been made as Whamlet spins away, phased by the hit, and The Disc charges again. Suddenly Taki flies out and strikes Frank's creation in the side. At that moment Flick of the Wrist drives out, and it's an all-out brawl now! The Disc turns and slices a piece of Taki off, which Flick runs over. But Whamlet gets to the side of Flick and lets fly the flipping scoop. Flick flies across the arena in a blur, landing onto his wheels and wheeling around, forks back and pointing at Whamlet. Taki rams Flick from the front, but flies up the forks of Flick and lands against the arena wall! The Disc takes a turn at Whamlet, and shreds through some of the armour in the side. It looks like it's over for Taki as Flick comes in with the forks and - NO! Taki rides over top of Flick's forks and lands behind him, pinning him in place with the hardox spikes. Flick pushes back in reverse. Meanwhile, Whamlet is getting his panels shredded to pieces by The Disc, and pieces of chassis are flying across the arena! Then Taki reverses, and slams into The Disc's wheels, and Flick hits Taki from behind, and The Disc himself is being pinned against the wall. Whamlet rushes over to Flick and tosses him on top of Taki. The Disc frees himself and tears Taki's ornament off the front, which lands in a clatter in a CPZ. Now maskless, Taki chases The Disc, ramming it and in turn getting a hardox spike ripped off in a shower of sparks. Concurrently, Whamlet flips over Flick with the plow, but Flick takes advantage of the lifted plow and, getting under Whamlet, carries him to the arena wall and rams him full force, but Whamlet slides on top of Flick and off the side. Trying to manoeuvre, Flick spins around and spears Whamlet's plow, ultimately getting himself tossed right-side-up again. Whamlet then carries Flick to the edge of the arena and TOSS! The switch has been flicked…OOTA…well, Martijn, not a good way to turn off a light. Whamlet turns to see a brutally mangled side wall from The Disc's…disc. He rushes right at Frank's monster. CRASH! That deserves a second look, that does!!! Whamlet's scoop has been severed from him, landing beside Whamlet and pushed aside! Taki backs into The Disc and pins him against the wall. Whamlet also reverses into The Disc and both have the discbot pinned. Taki lays off, but that releases the weapon from the wall and The Disc slightly brushes Whamlet's side…both The Disc and Whamlet go flying. Whamlet topples onto his side, spinning…spinning…and landing onto his back, completely dead. The Disc lands upside-down and wheels around to shake off the impact, and Taki rams him against a wall, pinning him. The Disc shakes around, and frees himself from Taki, racing around to meet her with the spinning disc. It's a 1-on-1 battle now, as Taki charges…The Disc reverses to the left and Taki hammers the wall, impaling herself upon it. Frank's face bears an inexplicable smirk as The Disc tears up Taki's armour like nothing. Suddenly, as the rear wedge panel comes flying off, a piece gets lodged in The Disc's…disc, stopping it. Taki reverses again, pushing The Disc into the wall. The Disc has stopped moving now, and Taki crawls to the middle of the arena…it seems that the house robots have won yet again! The Watcher wheels over and starts counting The Disc out. 1…2…3…4…5…6… NO! The Disc rides forward, weapon spinning again, and smashes Taki in the side, and the side panel gets a nice gash in it. Taki herself has now stopped moving, and Frank now grins, moving The Disc forward and smashing Taki to pieces. Children, avert your eyes, for this is a horrible stripping of a female robot. The Disc continues wrecking her, and the mechanics are now completely exposed. Oh…my…goodness. The Watcher rides forth and starts counting Taki out. 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…10!

Taki brutally slaughtered, and Whamlet almost as equally destroyed.

The final first round fight begins! Here are...
EXA-GORE-IC, Team Gore's trademark house robot, with 350kg, and horizontal crushing claws that lift the opponent into the air. It also has an axe to hit the opponent while it's trapped in the air, and OBELIX, Asterix's best friend, who is shaped like him but is substantially bigger (200kg), and sports a really nasty hammer shaped like a menhir.
The oppositions are ARCHANGEL OF THE ABYSS, a full body spinner with a bumper-ish look, and lots of teeth. It is a shuffler, and weighs 150kg, giving it a good position...and STOP CRYING YOUR HEART OUT, a box with spikes on the top and sides. It runs on a 4WD setup, and has a flipper/scoop that also acts as a srimech. However, it only has 8mph speed, which is bad for this kind of robot, and it can be flipped from the sides.

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
And Exa-Gore-Ic is the first to come out, as is SCYHO. Unfortunately for Exa-Gore-Ic, it forgot that it can be flipped from the front, and SCYHO gets under Exa-Gore-Ic and activates the flipper! ...nope. The weight disadvantage between the two is 250kg, and so Exa-Gore-Ic is lightly tipped up. Obelix comes out and rams SCYHO with the front 80 degree wedge, sending him onto his back. Obelix shoves SCYHO against the wall and starts completely demolishing him with the hammer. Exa-Gore-Ic, meanwhile, is coming towards ArchAngel, who is dangerous when up to speed, and - CRASH!!! HOLY FLYING METAL, BATMAN! Exa-Gore-Ic's left claw just went flying OOTA from a single hit! Uh oh, I'm starting to panic...ArchAngel bounces away as Exa-Gore-Ic rides towards him again. Meanwhile, Obelix is still beating the hell out of SCYHO with the hammer, and it looks like it's over for Dave's creation, as the top has spikes but not the base...and that is gone. SCYHO tries to self-right, but still being pinned does squat. Now Obelix is pounding away at the electronics, and that's it! There goes a motor! But Exa-Gore-Ic, concurrently, is not having a good time, as his front has just taking a huge hit and the armour goes flying off! ArchAngel wobbles a little and goes off to help SCYHO. Obelix sees this and reverses into ArchAngel, who is up to 1/2 speed, and bounces off, seemingly doing little damage to Obelix. Obelix turns full round and chases ArchAngel, whilst Exa-Gore-Ic...sits there. And sits there. And sits there...whoa. It seems the second big hit did something inside of Exa-Gore-Ic, and it's completely dead! ArchAngel gets up to speed, and Obelix halts. Too late. CRASH! The front wedge of Obelix is torn from the right side and is hanging by the left, exposing the electronics, and ArchAngel shows no signs of slowing down! Alex is on a roll here, as ArchAngel gets up to speed again as Obelix reverses into him again, this time gets his rear panel smashed off for his efforts, and sending ArchAngel bouncing across the arena once more. The Watcher counts both Exa-Gore-Ic and SCYHO out. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10! 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10! ArchAngel doesn't care, and so smashes Obelix alongst the side, tearing a sweet gash into it. Obelix rams the FBS into the CPZ corner and hammers him with the hammer, but the blow sends ArchAngel out of the corner and away, getting up to speed once more! However, the top of ArchAngel looks bent up. The crowd's concern, though, is all for naught as ArchAngel spins into Obelix once more and this time hits the front again, tearing...tearing...SPARK! A light show is put on as Obelix's hammer comes down into the spinning bot and the hammer is ripped clean off, venting smoke everywhere! And Obelix stops moving. It looks like he's gone. Yup, not moving at all. The Watcher wheels over and counts Obelix out. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10!
