Name: PsychoSpin Weight Class: Heavyweight Shape: Flat disc Colour: See pic. Armour: 5mm Hardox 600 on the whole body Speed: Relatively slow at 8mph Weight: 99.8kg Dimensions: Length and Width = 85cm, Height = 20cm Ground Clearance: 2.5mm Turning Circle: 0 Power: Powered by 2 S28-400 MagMotors set at 36v Batteries: 4 NiCads Speed Controller: VANTEC RDFR series Wheels: 4 like those of Biohazard's Weapons: Impressive indeed. There is a B42-500 MagMotor in there connected to aY-Link that powers both the hardened steel spinning blade, going at 1000rpm, and the spinning body, going at 750rpm. The spinning body has hardox-tipped spikes on there for maximum effect. Summary = if anyone touches him, they pay dearly. I can control both spinning weapons when I desire. Srimech: Also impressive is the srimech. I've read up on gyroscopic forces and if I activate both weapons, PsychoSpin will do a Son of Whyachi and spin out of control. If this happens when he's on his back (as if that'll happen!) then he'll get put back on his wheels. Strengths: Extremely destructive, very cool srimech. Weaknesses: Srimech too unpredictable. BIO: A clever idea at the time, but once I realized it wouldn't last long against tough, powerful flippers (which there seemed to be a lot of at the time ) I gave it a quick redesign. Battle Record = 0 wins, 1 loss (0-1) Time of Activity = 2004 - 2005 Notable Achievements = None

Name: The Sickness Shape: Extremely low cone. Weight: 100kg Colour: "The Sickness" album art vinyl. Drive: 2 S28-400 Magmotors @ 24v Speed: 15mph Wheels: Two small slippery ones to, like Tempest, prevent it from staying near the opponent after striking. Stuffed. Batteries: 4 x 36v NiCads, capacity = 3600 mAh. Armour: 6mm hardox 650 all around Ground Clearance: 4mm all around Dimensions in CM: 97 x 97 x 12 Weaponry: The robot is the weapon. Its outer hardox shell spins at 2250 RPM thanks to a LEM170 @ 36v, powered by 2 NiMH packs. It has 8 long edges on top that stick out, like a jack plane, to rip the opponent into nothingless should they happen to fall on top of The Sickness. Failing that (if ever), there are four 5cm hardox teeth attached near the bottom to rip away skirts and tougher armour. If any type of axe or hammer happens to hit the top of The Sickness, it'll be clean ripped off by the edges. Srimech: None, but it can spin itself onto its wheels in a blue moon. Strengths: EXTREMELY powerful spinner: the ultimate wedge killer. It'll make you sick. Coming soon to a nightmare near you. Weaknesses: No proper srimech, may be hard to control. BIO: A better attempt at a full-body spinner. But I needed invertibility, so I redesigned it again. Was predicted to beat a worthy vapourbot: Black Panther Queen! The EpidemicShape: See the picture. Weight: 100kg Colour: Same as before. Drive: 2 S28-400 @ 36v, powered by NiMH cells at 36v and 4 go-kart-style wheels that make him invertible. The wheels specially designed to grip the arena floor, opposite of that of his previous incarnation, and Tempest. Speed: 12mph Armour: The shell is 4mm hardox 450, and the top and bottom are 8mm Grade 5 titanium. All the blades are hardox 750. Ground Clearance: 2mm Dmensions in CM: 85 x 85 x 18 Weaponry: The shell spins at 3000rpm and is powered by an Etek motor. Has spike-like blades in 5 rows, each made of hardox. The three row ones are 6cm long and the two row ones are about 3cm long. Spin up speed is about 1.6 secs. Wedges won't be able to get under without suffering damage, nor will rammers due to the shape. The main objective is to be as aggressive as possible without any regard for own damage...I believe the word is "reckless". Srimech: Invertible. Strengths: Destructive, versatile, fast for an FBS. Weaknesses: Really resilient flippers, doesn't have the best control. BIO: Resembled an invertible version of Alex Holt's ArchAngel of the Abyss machine. It had many teeth but they were small and they didn't do much. It was a heat finalist in FFW4 though. And somehow, now it's made the bloody series semi-finals of FFW5, but finally lost against the powerful Whirligig 4.0. With that, The Epidemic can at last truly be laid to rest. Battle Record = 6 wins, 2 losses (6-2) Time of Activity = February 2007 - January 2008 Notable Achievements = Reached the Top 8 of FFW5. Theme song = Same as last generation. See above post.

The ZenithShape: Cylinder (see picture) Colour: See picture. Speed: 15mph Weight: 100kg Armour: 6mm hardox ring; wedges are 9mm titanium: the top srimech is 10mm polycarbonate. Drive: 2 LEM130s @ 36v. Power: 6 NiCad Battlepacks @ 36v. Motivation: Four small Biohazard style wheels with Vulkalon rubber for grip. Ground Clearance: 5mm under the ring, and 0mm at the wedges. Dimensions in CM (LxWxH): For the main body it's 80x80x15. Add the wedges and you get 120x120x15 Weaponry: Shell that is powered by a LEM170 motor @ 48v, running at 1750rpm, producing 70kJ of force per blow. Borrowed from superheavyweight S.L.A.M., are four wedges attached to the lower half of the shell, 90 degrees to each other. designed to throw robots across the ring when coming in contact, and OOTAs are definitely feasible. 3 hardox teeth inserted into each wedge will strip off some armour too, or even break it. Srimech: The 10mm polycarbonate top panel pops up, thanks to a 80mm rod and a 2kg CO2 tank, which should right the robot about 25-30 times in a fight. Strengths: Can throw and damage at the same time. Fast for a FBS. Fast srimech. Weaknesses: Can be gotten under easily if wedges are avoided. Average top armour. BIO: What a concept: a FBS that could throw things OOTA. However, as good as it looked on paper, in the arena...yeah, it bombed. XD It did pick up the Most Original Design award in Liam's ETC08 tournament though. ;D Battle Record = 2 wins, 2 losses (2-2) Time of Activity = Jan 2008 - May 2008 Notable Achievements = Won Most Original Design award in ETC08 Theme song = "Under Zenith" by Our Lady Peace

The ZodiacShape: Megabyte Colour: Take a look. Speed: 14mph Weight: 100kg Armour: 7mm Hardox shell, 9mm titanium top and 7mm 7075 aluminum underbelly. The srimech is made of 10mm kevlar. Drive: 2 S28-400 MagMotors @ 24v Power: 2 NiCad Battlepacks @ 24v Motivation: 4WD, small wheels positioned like Megabyte. Ground Clearance: 6mm Turning Circle: 0 Dimensions in CM (LxWxH): 115 x 115 x 11 Weaponry: Full-body spinner with two giant 5kg teeth made of Hardox. The entire shell weighs about 45kg and is powered by 4 S28-400 MagMotors @ 24v and 4 NiCad Battlepacks @ 24v. At an RPM of 1500, it can get up to that in 1.6 seconds, and unleashes a horrifying 149kJ per hit! It's shockproofed on the joints holding the armour to the chassis, and the chassis to the motor mounts with urethane rubber, so it doesn't immediately kill itself from its own hits. The teeth themselves are designed to be blunt and knock panels off, or kill the opponent through shock treatment. ;D Srimech: A low-pressure CO2-powered bar at the top, the 2kg tank supplying enough for about 30 self-rights. Since the height is a bit too low, the ram is angled about 45 degrees, and the full 90 once back inside the robot. Strengths: Absurdly powerful spinner, one of the few powerful FBSs that can right themselves. Very tough exterior armour. BIO: Wanted to go the whole hog here. ;D And yes, I did use the kJ calculator here. The idea of an FBS throwing bots OOTA was nice, but in the end it didn't work out, so I decided to go Megabyte on my opponents. Turns out that didn't work too well...it actually beat Back to Rock III, though, and that says something, for that bugger can't be beaten often. Battle Record = 2 wins, 1 loss (2-1) Time of Activity = May 2008 - May 2009 Notable Achievements = None Theme song = "Immortal" by Adema

CoronaShape: Steeply sloped cylinder with flat edges. Colour: Fiery! Name on the top. Weight: 100kg Drive: 3 S28-150 MagMotors run on 24 volts, geared 9:1. Power: 4 NiCad Battlepacks run on 24 volts. Motivation: 3 wheel omnidrive. It uses 3 omni-wheels similar to those of Root Canal to move itself across the arena. It can drive normally at first, then zig off in another direction instantly. This is especially useful in escaping charges from rammers/flippers. Speed: 8mph Armour: 24mm Ti/V alloy outer ring. The top is 5mm titanium and the underbelly is 6mm polycarb. The whole ring and powering engine and starter motor are shock mounted to avoid recoil from the most powerful of blows. Ground Clearance: 10mm Dimensions in CM (LxWxH): 95 x 95 x 25 Weaponry: A 40kg spinning ring, powered by a Stihl MS880 chainsaw engine (in turn powered by an EV Warrior on 24 volts). It gets to a maximum RPM of 3000 and it can dish out about 260kJ per hit! However, it also has a gearbox to control the RPM value (from 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3000) that it puts out so it doesn't hurt itself (even slightly) from its own shots. 1500 is the ideal RPM, and it puts out 65kJ every hit at 1500RPM. It should get to 1500RPM within 2 seconds. Theoretically, anyway. Srimech: The top titanium panel opens up via a pneumatic ram powered by a 2kg CO 2 tank. BIO: A blast from the past, Corona retook The Zenith's srimech, but gained on The Zodiac's brutal power. It was enough, but he'd been here two long years, so the torch has been passed along... Battle Record = 3 wins, 1 loss (3-1) Time of Activity = May 2009 - June 2011 Notable Achievements = None Theme song = "Battery" by Metallica

HeliosphereShape: It really no longer resembles a cylinder but almost a cone, and with a two-flagged pole on top this time. Also, the shell is, as with middleweight Solstice, a cog/gear shape, to help against heavy-hitting spinners that reach far enough to hit it. Colour: Varying shades and hues of blue flames. Drive: 3 A28-150 MagMotors @ 24v, geared 9:1 for better acceleration Power: 4 24v NiCad Battlepacks in parallel Motivation: 3 wheel omnidrive. It uses 3 omni-wheels similar to those of Root Canal to move itself across the arena. It can drive normally at first, then zig off in another direction instantly. This is especially useful in escaping charges from rammers/flippers. Speed: The top speed is around 15mph, but that's a peak speed, it would usually be around 9-10mph. Armour: 12mm Ti/V alloy. This time it is on the top as well, providing excellent protection against other weapons. The bottom armour is rather miniscule, with 2 seperate sheets of 2mm 7075 aluminium alloy. The flagpole is also aluminium alloy. Ground Clearance: 25mm under the main body, 5mm under the blades. Turning Circle: Haha! Dimensions in CM (LxWxH): 100 x 100 x 30 (50 with flag) Weaponry: A 45.5kg spinning ring, powered by a Stihl MS880 chainsaw engine (in turn powered by an EV Warrior on 24 volts) and sporting 2 dangerous Hardox teeth, each 5kg. It gets to a maximum RPM of 2000, and can dish out 216kJ each hit. Should get to that within 3 seconds. The gearbox returns though, and can limit the robot's rotation speed to: 500rpm = 13kJ. Hypno-Disc put out less than this. Should get to this instantly, and have more than enough to knock bots away to get up to higher speed. 1000rpm = 54kJ. This will cause quite some damage to most armours within a few hits. Should take about a second to get here. 1500rpm = 122kJ. Does massive damage and nears OHKO capacity. Needs its shockproofing at this point, though. Gets here within 2 seconds. Srimech: The dual flagpole at the top is directly connected to the shell. An instant spin-up means this guy can bounce off the flagpole immediately and get back in action. Notes: Has an absolute buttload of shockproofing in here. All motors and batteries are shock mounted, and titanium foam is used in appropriate places as a cushioner. Even though the shit traction value means it will hardly take any recoil other than bouncing away anyway, I'm not taking any chances. BIO: Corona did well, indeed! But two long years have passed, so it's time to pass the torch along! No flip-top pneumatics this time, Heliosphere relies on its weapon's pure speed and power to crush its opponents! Hasn't done that well so far, however. Battle Record = 0 wins, 1 loss (0-1) Time of Activity = June 2011 - present Notable Achievements = None Theme song = "As I Destruct" by Threat Signal
