Round 1, Eliminator 1 Sheer Heart Attack 2 (1) vs. Ge5orce vs. Megabyte vs. Hell’s Teeth
From Enschede, Holland, seeded number 1 and reigning champion, Sheer Heart Attack 2! Back for another war, back to drum another day, will this tracked spinner go again all the way?
Melissa: So, what have you got in store for us this time around? Martijn: A bigger drum, that’s damn what. It goes at 3500rpm and it’s got some nice teeth that I’m sure will damage the other robots quite nicely. Melissa: Right. Your opponents: Ge5orce…Megabyte…and Hell’s Teeth. Martijn: Dodgy, really. Think I’ll give it the ol’ college try against Megabyte. Melissa: Think you can go all the way like you did last series? Martijn: Deffo.
The defending champion has that extremely powerful titanium drum, a nice upgrade on the previous version. It has the fastest drivetrain in this fight, good armour, and plenty powerful, but those tracks are vulnerable, and it won’t be as manoeuvrable as the wheeled machines.
C&B1: Did not compete. C&B2: Defeated Quocunque Jeceris Stabit, The Deer, and Aneurysm (4) in its heat, Cyclone Force 2.5 and Flank Attack: DT in the Semi-finals, SUNCUST in the Grand Final eliminator, and finally Tempest Evil-er-oution (14) to win the championship!
From Shrewsbury in Shropshire, Ge5orce! First Crash & Burn appearance, the flipper certainly looks like it has force!
Melissa: So this is Ge5orce, looks lovely. Andy: Yep. Melissa: Nice flipper. Andy: 1600kg of force packed in it, should launch bots over the fence in no time. Melissa: I must say, I like the edginess, really. Andy: Yes, well, 4.0 couldn’t get its flipper into play so we brought the weapon out more. Melissa: And your tactics are? Andy: Straight in, straight out.
The flipper can fire about 20 times a fight so there’s limited CO2 but still plenty of it. 2 wheel drive, Mag powered, so it has some push. The ground clearance at the rear is questionable but there’s no doubt about the tough Hardox armour, so watch out for ‘the force’ in this one!

Melissa: But you didn’t do too well last time, and now you’re in the same fight as the reigning champion! How does that make you feel? John: We were the champs once in the US, and we fell. This champ here, he’s going down. Melissa: Good luck, then. Ben: Thanks…
The weapon and drive are electrically powered and the outer shell is quite tough, however they have had issues self-righting in the past. The 8th ranked heavyweight in America, Megabyte could get the chomp, or they could bloody well rip straight through the competition!
C&B1: Ripped apart Biohazard in Round 1, but then was flipped over by Tails and couldn’t self-right. C&B2: Shoved down the pit by Hacked Off Ha-ka and Turbulence (17) in Round 1.
From Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire, Hell’s Teeth! Newcomer…but does it have the bite to match its bark?
Melissa: Right, what do you think? Shane: Well, I don’t really think that flipper is a bother, but that champion worries me slightly though. Melissa: Going for them, then? Shane: Pretty much, yes. We have a smaller weapon though so it will be tough. Melissa: And do you think you’ll come out of this alive? Shane: Oh definitely, definitely. Melissa: All right.
Powered by 3 Bosch 750 electric motors, and has a vertical spinning flywheel at the rear; it’s got good armour and it can runs both ways up, but the wheels are exposed, and a 7.5cm ground clearance could having it whimpering in the devil’s denture glass before long.

Roboteers, stand by… Let’s have a look at the teams. Martijn Benschop on the left side, Ben Read and John of the Robotic Death Company on the right, that’s Booth 1; in Booth 2 is Andrew Jackson on the left, and Shane Swan of Team Bud on the right. For the house robots, we have revisions! Asterix Anarchius, more power but less speed, new front wedge design and sides, and alongside him is new house robot Renegade, with the pincer pair and axe blade. Don’t forget our refbot, The Watcher, patrols the arena and will break up fights if needed.
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!
And here we go again! It’s the champion Sheer Heart Attack 2 who makes the first move, heading straight for Hell’s Teeth, who spins around quickly and shows them their teeth – the teeth on that flywheel, that is! But if anything, that just makes Martijn more determined to rip it off and Sheer Heart Attack’s pace quickens! Before it can do anything more, however, it is interrupted by the quickly spinning shell of Megabyte, who swerves in and greets the side of the champion with a devastating blow!
CRASH!!!
And we get our first CRASH of the tournament! Sheer Heart Attack is spun away, the 10mm titanium side okay but slightly bent. It has, however, sent Megabyte across the arena itself, and now it is very vulnerable to a flipping! And that’s exactly what Andy is going to do! Ge5orce bursts in as Megabyte goes all top-like, spinning on its head, and pushes it into the arena wall. Obviously, since the robot is spinning and not the shell, it’s hardly moved away from the wall, so this makes things a little difficult for Ge5orce. He then decides to push Megabyte into an empty CPZ and then goes for the gusto! FLIP! No! He only righted Megabyte! And right about to be rightly slammed and rightly mashed against the corner by Asterix Anarchius, our house robot! WHAM! Megabyte is slammed with great power, very great, against that said corner, and ricocheting off towards the center of the arena! Ge5orce follows and before Megabyte can even try to get its feared shell spinning again, it’s flipped over!
Sheer Heart Attack and Hell’s Teeth are going at it as well, like a pair of rabid mongeese during mating season! Sheer Heart Attack doesn’t want to hit the drum and instead uses the rear wedges to smack into that rear of Hell’s Teeth; owing to the ground clearance it quite easily slips under and pushes Hell’s Teeth onto the arena saws! BZZT! Loads of sparks, so I’m not sure if a tire was hit, but oh well…but Sheer Heart Attack keeps him there, and the wheels of Hell’s Teeth have been taken completely off the ground! BZZT! More sparks! What damage is being caused to the bottom armour of Hell’s Teeth I wonder? It might look like an very overused cutting board before long!
Ge5orce sees what is going on and doesn’t bother to intervene; instead, it backs into the pit release button, and the first time this tournament, the demonic pit of doom opens, the grave of many robots so far in robotic combat history. And that’s where it looks like Megabyte is going first! It’s unable to self-right, can’t seem to bounce up onto its wheels, and Ge5orce is now behind it! Pushing! Pushing! Pushing…gone. Megabyte is down the pit, and the first to be eliminated after a good first hit to a straight-down very disappointing performance later on. Ge5orce opens its flipper as Andy clenches his fist, smiling.
However, it ain’t over yet, lad. Hell’s Teeth may be down for the count, but it’s not out. BZZT! And even more sparks as Sheer Heart Attack keeps him suspended over those damn saws, and now The Watcher thinks enough is enough. It shunts the champ away from Hell’s Teeth, who lands directly onto the arena saws, but gets off before they come up…and Ge5orce attacks! No way is Hell’s Teeth getting a nick in – Andy is just too fast! The wedge slams into Hell’s Teeth’s side and carries it to the arena wall…and tosses it out!
CEASE!
Megabyte’s processor couldn’t keep up with the others’ and it finds itself in the pit! Hell’s Teeth turns Hell’s Angel as it flies the fence! Sheer Heart Attack 2 (1) & Ge5orce advance to Round 2!

Round 1, Eliminator 2 Turbulence (17) vs. Axes of Evil vs. Slammer VI vs. Naughty Girl
From Coleshill, Birmingham, and seeded number 17, Turbulence! Made the heat final last time, only the pressure of Flank Attack: DT could grind it to a halt.
Melissa: Hello. Dan: Hi. Ed: 'Lo. Melissa: Right, what’s your plan? Ed: Flip them all out, o’ course. Melissa: No specific opponent? Ed: Not really, just flip them all out. Melissa: All right, then, have fun. Dan: Thanks!
The armour titanium and the chassis CNC aluminium; a powerful flipper for sure could send robots away packing, but that always means it has a limited supply. A quarter-finalist of the 2008 Roaming Robots Championship, and hoping to go all the way here.
C&B1: Did not compete. C&B2: Got Megabyte down the pit in Round 1, then pulled off a judges decision against ForcePower 5.0 in Round 2…but then was pushed into the pit by Flank Attack: DT in its Heat Final.
From Bedford, Axes of Evil! Ooh…it’s evil…but just how evil?
Melissa: Right, this is Axes of Evil. Danny: Indeed it is, and we’re going to do some bloody good damage to the other robots. Melissa: Right. You are facing Turbulence…Slammer…and a robot over there called “Naughty Girl”. Danny: Slammer's shape doesn’t look too hard to grab so I’ll grab it, I suppose. Melissa: Not worried? Danny: Nah, not in the least bit. Melissa: Right then.
2 wheel drive with 750w electric motors and a top speed of 15mph means this bot will be in your face, and the double-sided axe could spell trouble for the opposition. That said, it has polycarbonate armour, which though quite thick could prove its undoing.

From Geddinton in Northamponshire, Slammer VI! Slam, bam, that’s how it goes, m’am. Entered in the first series but not the second…
Melissa: The Doomforall team, welcome. What are you looking to do out there? Alex: Hello. Well, we’ve got the claw on for this fight so we’re looking to go after weak armour. Melissa: Which opponent worries you the most? Alex: Probably something that can grab hold of Slammer or damage the wheels. Melissa: But you do realize Axes of Evil has…an axe. Alex: I think I can damage him enough long before he can bring that into play, he does have polycarb armour. Melissa: All right, good luck out there. Alex: Thank you.
A great slab of 7mm Hardox is the main armour, and 5mm rear hub section protects the electronics, it’s got multiple weaponry and it’s mildly swift at 14mph. Though it’s a Slammer, it won’t be pushing much, and it can be grabbed. I see two axes in this upcoming fight…
C&B1: Outshined by its rival The Disc 5 again in Round 1. C&B2: Did not compete.
From Kelvedon, Naughty Girl! Doesn’t really look anything like a naughty girl, really, but what does this newcomer have in store for us?
Melissa: Ooh, Naughty Girl, a name I can live with. Martyn: Hahaha. Melissa: What’s your plan? Martyn: Axe. Axe. And more axe. Slammer’s cagey so I’ll go for that. Melissa: Not worried about the others? Martyn: Oh no, not at all. Melissa: Confident? Martyn: Quite. Melissa: Well, that’s good.
A very potent axe on board, coupled with some nice durable tracks. Box-like shape with a scoop-ish front, Magmotor power and a 17mph speed means it’s not too bad a shover, but its weakness: people not liking tracked robots! How discriminatory of them!

Roboteers, stand by… Let’s see the teams, there’s Martyn Forsyth on the left, and Dan Boulton with Ed Wallace on the right in Booth 1, Booth 2 sees Danny Bailey on the left and Alex Holt and the Doomforall team on the right! Oh, but we’re not alone! Taki III is out with us for the house robots, lifting wedge, rear blade and all! Joining her is Damocles, our resident 360 degree drum mercenary!
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!
And it’s the seed who strikes first, as Turbulence rockets out of its square immediately, and his first target is Axes of Evil, who is starting to move out of his own spot to attack Slammer VI. The wedge slams straight into Axes of Evil and Ed hits the flipper button as Dan watches, which sends the THz-alike high into the air and crashing back down! Slammer VI wants to join in on the fun, but the fun, or opposite, has come to him in the form of a very Naughty Girl, who gets in from the side and brings the axe down on Slammer’s cage. Needless to say, it doesn’t do much to the armour, but it does have the effect Martyn wanted, as it’s found a slot in Slammer’s armour to lodge in, and now Naughty Girl rams forward, pushing Slammer across the arena.
Turbulence is having a blast, really, as it’s tossing Axes of Evil all around the arena without giving the polycarbonate robot a chance to attack. Danny is finding that trying to get away is difficult as Turbulence keeps ramming forward even time it flips, but finally gets away and heads in Slammer VI’s direction. Turbulence ceases its attack and goes for…ah, I see. The pit release button. Good control there, and now it rejoins the fun, where Axes is sticking its weaponry into poor old Slammer, who really hasn’t gotten a chance to bring its own weaponry into play and is being bashed all over now by Axes…not that its making much progress on the armour, but the internals must have been shaken about as if someone turned on the ‘blender’ button inside!
But Turbulence isn’t giving up that easily, and moments later the skirts have been breached again as Axes of Evil finds its world once again inverted, courtesy of the 17th seed’s damn persistent flipper! Naughty Girl seems to have had enough of dishing out pain and is dragging Slammer VI over to the pit…until Turbulence crashes into the side of Slammer, pushing Slammer away and almost wrenching the axe shaft from Naughty Girl’s pneumatics system in the process! But Turbulence isn’t stopping there, it’s tossed Slammer into an empty CPZ, and now tries to get it out! Axes of Evil rights itself, only to be shoved aside by Taki III as it makes its way over to that CPZ…but nothing can save Slammer now, it’s propped up against the wall, and even as it drives off, Turbulence elevates it above the arena wall corner and onto the camera tracks!
Now rid of an opponent that sadly didn’t do much during the fight, Turbulence turns its attention back to Axes of Evil…only to be greeted by a house robot! And Taki does indeed get under the front flipper of Turbulence and smacks the 17th seed into the corner further! Danny is pleased and thinks this would be a wonderful time to get revenge, as Axes of Evil goes around back of Taki, minding the blade, and attacks Turbulence, who rights itself off the wall, but back onto Taki’s wedge, and WHACK! goes the axe of Axes of Evil, slightly denting the titanium atop, but nothing more with that first blow. Naughty Girl isn’t about to left out either and moves to the rear of Axes of Evil, attacking its fellow axe member! WHACK! And that axe blow proves to be much more effective as it’s pierced about 2cm of polycarbonate!
Taki moves back to her previously occupied CPZ to allow Turbulence some breathing room, and room does the 17th seed get indeed! It charges out, forgetting that its opponents are behind it, and turns around to attack. A good attack by Naughty Girl, but now Axes of Evil attacks from the rear with its double-sided axe! WHACK! Unfortunately, it’s rather ineffective against the 3.5mm Hardox of Naughty Girl and that devilish purplish boxy-ish scoopy-ish axer drags Axes back, as Turbulence moves in again…only to drive up onto Axes’ skirts this time. Naughty Girl continues to drag Axes of Evil backwards, Turbulence sliding off, and Axes giving the Girl another whack to the scoop, doing nothing serious but only making Martyn smirk and Naughty Girl turns to the open pit…
…only to get its prey rammed by Turbulence again! Not only that, but Turbulence gets under again, and tosses Axes over, sending Naughty Girl with it! Axes self-rights, and now Naughty Girl is stuck on top of Axes of Evil, but rights itself as well…and the axe comes loose. Axes of Evil moves to attack Turbulence, but Turbulence is already in his face and gets under the skirts once again, tossing him onto his head, but he self-rights, only for Turbulence to toss him over again, and shove him back into that CPZ! Axes of Evil is in major peril now, it’s in danger of being flipped out, can it get out? It self-rights, but Turbulence is there…but can’t get under the skirts here! Naughty Girl moves in for another wallop, indeed sending one Axes of Evil’s way as the axe WHACKS into Axes’ armour, sticking in again, and this time from the side!
Axes struggles and itself smacks Turbulence, who seems to be caught on the front of Axes’ with the axe, denting the flipper slightly. Naughty Girl however is in control now and drags Axes towards the pit. Ed Wallace knows perfectly well what’s going to happen now and decides to lay off as Turbulence heads for the center of the arena and remains still. Axes of Evil, however much it drags Martyn’s bot around, can’t shake it off, as it gets nearer and nearer the pit, and a genial shove more sends it plummeting down as Round 1 finally draws to a close.
CEASE!
Slammer VI gets a one-way ticket to the slammer itself, and Axes of Evil lacked the power of what Hell truly is! Turbulence (17) & Naughty Girl advance to Round 2!

Round 2, Battle 1 Sheer Heart Attack 2 (1) vs. Naughty Girl
Roboteers, stand by…
In the arena, for the house robots, we have Triple Whamlet, the tri-axed terror, and alongside him we have Exa-Gore-Ic Evo with the claws and spike!
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!
Can the champion make it past this stage? Sheer Heart Attack 2 is quite eager to show that he can and spinning that drum up heads for that really Naughty Girl immediately! Martyn isn’t fond of a frontal attack and turns to move away, just getting past that 39kJ drum, which turns to keep her in check! Both have pretty much the same manoeuvrability so this will be difficult for Naughty Girl to actually get an attack in, and much less so when the champion wants to get an attack in itself! Naughty Girl backs off but the speed of Sheer Heart Attack is moreso than Martyn’s machine, and any moment now…
CRASH!
It’s not quite a devastating blow, but it has sent Naughty Girl up and over onto its back, which Martijn definitely wanted, and now it goes forward as Naught Girl self-rights…straight onto the drum! Only it’s not even half-spun up and now Naughty Girl brings down its axe hitting…air! AH, BRILLIANT! The axe went as far as it could go, and stopped, sending Naughty Girl flying straight over Sheer Heart Attack and onto its back, but now it’s righting itself again, and turns around before those rear wedges can gets into play! Ooh, the champ is vulnerable, it has to get around to get its weaponry into play! Naughty Girl pushes and bumps, Sheer Heart Attack can’t seem to spin itself to face the opponent, and now the axe comes down! Oh, but the shaft hits the tracks and not the axe itself!
Martyn however isn’t really daunted by this and keeps the axe shaft in the way of the track’s mobility, pushing the champion into Exa-Gore-Ic Evo’s CPZ! Exa-Gore-Ic gladly takes hold and crunches into the 10mm titanium sides! And the spike comes out – OHH HAAA HA HA HA!!! Oh dear, the spike came off…ahh, I can’t believe it, the house robot’s lost his spike. There it is, lying on the arena floor, the drum just tore it right off, haha…and I think that’s immobilized the house robot! Exa-Gore-Ic’s mobility has ceased, it’s not moving anywhere at all! What in the name of Frankie Boyle have you done, Martijn?! Nothing Naughty Girl is concerned about, and it’s crashed into the rear of Sheer Heart Attack, only to get wedged by those rear wedges! It brings down the axe on the dormant drum, but it glances off and now Martijn, his robot free of Exa-Gore-Ic’s dead grip, shoves backwards, getting it off the wedges and onto the pit, and then goes for the pit release button…no, it turns around. Naughty Girl is after it and crashes into it without a second pence.
CRASH!
Another blow that has sent the challenger over, and Martijn pushes Martyn over towards Triple Whamlet’s CPZ, as revenge! Naughty Girl self-rights once more, but it’s already in the corner patrol zone, and WHACK WHACK WHACK go the axes of Whamlet, and look at that, all those dents in the Hardox already! Sheer Heart Attack backs off, Naughty Girl held in place by those continuouly punishing axe blows, or maybe even that lovely scoop of Whamlet’s ;D, and spins up its drum. Naughty Girl finally escapes, but runs straight back into the champ’s weaponry!
CRASH!
And it’s over once more! Sheer Heart Attack pushes it back into the CPZ, and it’s Whamlet’s axe time on the underside of Naughty Girl…guessing by the name, maybe she likes this punishment, but Sheer Heart Attack plans to add a bit more to this chaos and gets its weaponry going again. Naughty Girl can’t self-right, Whamlet’s axes are keeping it on its back, its underside looks very dented and now the champion rolls forth to conquer its axed opponent!
CRASH!
Over goes Martyn’s robot again, right into the deepest pocket of that CPZ, it needs to get away, but Whamlet turns around…to get wedged by the scoop of Naughty Girl and axed! Oh dear! Our house robots are being attacked again, but it was the only way out of the CPZ: through Whamlet! Sheer Heart Attack’s drum continues to spin up to maximum fierceness and Naughty Girl won’t let go of Whamlet anytime soon…until Sheer Heart Attack smacks into its tracked fellow with the drum, once again!
CRASH!!!
And it’s the side now! Naughty Girl is jolted up, not inverted, but Whamlet is freed and is taking VERY peeved at this attack. Naughty Girl doesn’t appear to be moving anyway, but now Whamlet’s axe party goes again, and this time Sheer Heart Attack does go for the pit release button! Drum-first! Why you…you…you’ll be paying for that, believe you me! Whamlet’s pushing it, and pushing it…Martyn’s robot would have liked this more if it was still moving, I’m sure. ;D And now it’s on the floor flipper! The Watcher is gonna count it out, for damn sure! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!
WHOOSH! Naughty Girl gets a nice taste of gravity as it’s flung across and back down onto the arena floor, and the champ backs into it, shoving, shoving, down the pit, that’s all she wrote, folks.

Naughty Girl, a heat finalist? Don’t go there, girlfriend. ;D Sheer Heart Attack 2 (1) advances to the Heat A Final!!

Round 2, Battle 2 Turbulence (17) vs. Ge5orce
Roboteers, stand by…
House robots! Triple Big Mac, cone spinner, deadly hammers, quick spin-up time, I’m lovin’ it. ;D Partnering it is none other than the biggest of the housies, Ancalagon the Black, you know the power in the jaw by now, and those discs. ;D
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!
Flipper vs. flipper, but Ge5orce is the bookies’ pick and he’s set to prove them right as he goes straight for Turbulence, who’s going for him! The effect is pleasing to Andy as Ge5orce slips under that front flipper of the seed and launches it skyward! Turbulence crashes back down onto the arena floor, but self-rights instantly. Ge5orce is back at it though, getting under the rear and tossing it into a 360, and gunning forward as Turbulence lands, but Turbulence lands on the wedge and drives off, Andy hitting the flipper button a second too late and Ge5orce flips itself over! Turbulence takes advantage of this, turning around and getting under Ge5orce’s wheel pod, wedging it and taking it to the wall, but unable to flip it out as Ge5orce bounces off. Turbulence whips around to see the recovered uber-flipper in his path and approaching quickly, and meets him with its own flipper…but Ge5orce prevails once more. Unfortunately for Ge5orce, the angle it’s at makes it unable to toss Turbulence OOTA and so it tosses Turbulence into the air again. Turbulence lands hard, right in the center of the arena, onto its wheels though and turns around again…only to get rammed into a very damn persistent Ge5orce! The persistence pays off again, as Turbulence can’t get its own flipper under Ge5orce’s…and Ge5orce heads for the arena wall! Turbulence goes to drive off but the flipper activates bloody soon, and the 17th seed meets a sad end on the other side of the arena wall!
CEASE!
Turbulence couldn’t handle the force, and the pressure made it jump the wall! ;D Ge5orce advances to the Heat A Final!!

Melissa: Right…let’s go over to the Ge5orce team…ah, Andrew, how you feel facing the reigning champion? Andy: Well I’m pretty confident about my powerful flipper, but of course Marti ain’t number one for nothing. Don’t think the drum looks high enough to knock my wedge away so I’ll be box-rushing it mostly. Anywhere’s good. Melissa: It is a really powerful weapon, though. Andy: Well we have some strong armour and hardened steel nuts and bolts and pieces holding it together so it should hold up. Melissa: Fight hard out there. Andy: You got it.

JP: Right, I’m in the box here with the host…this battle looks very complicated, what do you think? Kody: Well, Sheer Heart Attack 2 of course is the champ but that doesn’t mean much other than the fact that he’s experienced. Ge5orce on the other hand looks highly impressive, but I really don’t think he can get the champion out of the arena or down the pit, the drum will hassle him too much. JP: I think the impact damage from Ge5orce’s flips will be telling factor though, so I will predict Ge5orce to win. Kody: I’ll respect the champ and say that he’ll pull off a nice KO on Ge5orce through shock damage without receiving many flips. JP: All right, then, let’s go down to the arena, and find out!

Newcomer to Crash & Burn, masterful weaponry, but how will it fare here?
Roboteers, stand by…
In the arena, for the house robots, we have Sergeant Bash with the pincer and flamethrower…and Cassius Chrome, our regional boxer, bit putrid, wouldn’t you say?
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!
And the heat final beckons! And what a quick dash Ge5orce has made across the arena already, zooming past the middle and right into Sheer Heart Attack’s drum, which hasn’t nearly gotten up to speed and now Andy makes the gigantic flip! The champ’s world is thrown into spin cycle as it hurtles through the air, coming right down onto its back! The rear wedges flop down but the drum won’t be able to throw its opponent back as easily as before, if at all! Andy smiles; that was his exact tactic; certainly surprised me, completely unexpected! And now Ge5orce rams in again with that flipper; Sheer Heart Attack turns and runs away, trying to spin up the drum but the ‘5orce catches him from the rear, slides under those rear wedges and starts pushing him across the arena! It seems that Andy isn’t going to risk putting Sheer Heart Attack right side up again for risk of getting tossed away by that drum, and dumps the champ into Cassius Chrome’s CPZ!
Cassius Chrome, rather ‘underpowered’ in the weaponry case, tries to pin Sheer Heart Attack against the wall, but the drum catches the left side fist and buckles it! Wot, no CRASH? Ge5orce meanwhile has smacked into the pit release button, and now goes back for the champ. Cassius Chrome turns Sheer Heart Attack back into the corner and slams him against the other wall, again pinning him, but Ge5orce…to the rescue? Ho ho! Cassius Chrome has been tossed against the arena wall by that mighty flipper! And here comes Sgt. Bash, he ain’t liking that one bit! Ge5orce, not forgetting its opponent, backs into Sheer Heart Attack to prevent it from moving, but the clever Sergeant comes in from the other side, its claw sinking into that flipper! Of course, you’d be well put to even slightly damage Hardox, Sgt. “I’ve-Been-Mentioned-On-Mock-The-Week” Bash! ;D The Watcher comes near, but Ge5orce has broken free of Sgt. Bash, got to its side, and taking to the wall gives it an almighty toss, sending the Sergeant over the fence! Pity!
Sheer Heart Attack is moving away now, but Ge5orce is not done yet with the house robots! As The Watcher sidles in to right Cassius Chrome, the bold wedge moves in and tackles The Watcher’s side! Sheer Heart Attack, after witnessing this attack, decides to lay aside the match and help its opponent as well…to find out Ge5orce doesn’t need any help launching the referee…OUT OF THE ARENA! With a rather loud SMASH, The Watcher’s head smacks into the polycarbonate covering and lies pathetically on the arena camera tracks! Talk about anarchy! The red card has been given…but who cares? This is a robot combat fight, not a game of footie! And that’s only for the house robots, get that out of there! Now!
Back to the Heat Final, Sheer Heart Attack makes another charge at Ge5orce, who decides not to risk the drum this time and tries to outmanoeuvre the champ. Suffice to say, Andy is successful at this and the flipper nudges against the titanium tracks…right underneath the side! It starts pushing, but Sheer Heart Attack can’t really be pushed from the side due to its huge traction advantage. Martijn tries to turn and attack, but Andy has seen what he needs to do and turns away from the sides to attack the rear. Sheer Heart Attack, to Andy’s surprise, spins the other way, and Ge5orce greets the other side…only to get under it this time! Martijn however drives straight off as Andy tries to send the towards the pit, and turns around again.
Ge5orce is right after it, fully intent on delivering the champ to the pit by the looks of it, and slams into the drum head-on now. There’s a BANG as sparks erupt, but Martijn sees his beloved champ bounce straight up onto Ge5orce, and Andy’s slight anxiety turns to sheer delight as Sheer Heart Attack has driven straight up onto the wheel housings of Ge5orce, and it appears unable to move further onto the housings; Ge5orce turns, as Sheer Heart Attack backs away, off the housings, but Andy zooms off towards the pit with all his might, the champ struggles, the pit nears, and finally claims Sheer Heart Attack in a overwhelming burst of smoke. Ge5orce backs off and spins around wildly, having just ended the champion’s quest towards a 2nd crowning!
CEASE!
Sheer Heart Attack 2 encounters a sheer coronary for all its sheer effort towards that sheer title defense! ;D Ge5orce advances to the Series Semi-Finals!!!
